Ever wanted to poke around inside Halo without a PC in the room? Halo Cache Editor, by XBOX War3z and NikeJustDoItOk, edits Halo: Combat Evolved's cache files on the Xbox itself. This beta 2 adds a hex editor, a nickname changer and a fly option, which switches the tank and Warthog to ghost physics and puts them back when you turn it off.

You need a modded Xbox and a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved on the hard drive.

- On your PC, open config.ini. Set Region to NTSC or PAL and give the path to Halo's default.xbe for that region. D:\default.xbe works too, because the editor doesn't reboot when the disc is ejected.
- FTP the whole folder to the Xbox, for example to E:\Apps\HCE.
- Start it from your dashboard: UnleashX, EvolutionX, Avalaunch or XBMC4Xbox will all do. If it finds no cache it shows the start screen. Press White for the list of cache files it found, pick one with the D-pad and press A.
