Open PS2 Loader 1.0.0 Download - The First Stable OPL Release for the PS2 (with Variants and Languages)

Before 1.0.0, Open PS2 Loader was a long run of 0.x builds, and the July 2021 release finally gave it a stable version number. It's still the same idea from Ifcaro and jimmikaelkael: start PS2 games and homebrew from USB, an SD card in the memory card port (MX4SIO), iLink drives, SMBv1 shares or an internal ATA/IDE drive instead of the disc, in ISO, ZSO, USB Extreme or HDLoader format.

Inside are three folders: OPNPS2LD, the standard build; OPNPS2LD-VARIANTS, with DTL_T10000 for PS2 development tools, IGS for in-game screenshots, PADEMU for DS3 and DS4 pad emulation and RTL for right-to-left languages, in every combination; and OPNPS2LD-LANGUAGES-AND-FONTS, with 28 languages.

1. Copy OPNPS2LD-v1.0.0.ELF to wherever you boot homebrew from on the PS2. Free McBoot on a memory card is the usual way.
2. Start it, choose where your games are and put them in the folders the README describes.

What 1.0.0 changed, from the changelog: the games list is cached, so scanning a device is much faster, apps get their own folders with a title.cfg each, and OPL always uses the CFG folder instead of CFG-DEV. The 0.x builds before it are here.

Tip: the language files are for 1.0.0 only, as the pack's own readme says. The two Chinese fonts are big, so load them from the root of your USB drive and be patient.
