Yes, you just need to ensure on that profile you set your console as the profiles home console. Then any profile on that console can play the game.

"Using a non-US credit card here with a fake billing address could cause the payment later to fail when you try to purchase content, so I would usually recommend avoiding this unless it is your only option.
I found my Debit Card worked fine, and one of my credit cards did, but the other didn't so it is honestly hit and miss here."

This still applies basically, pre-paid cards are your best best, however you might get lucky and be able to use a credit / debit card.

currently I'm in Jordan (Middle East) & it will take probably a whole year or more before Microsoft officialy introduces Xbox One here.


Can you guys help & clarify this to me:



I will buy xbox one (Pal region, Europe), If I switch to the USA account & use US xbox gift cards, then I will be able to buy & play anything in the US online store right?


But my main concern is:


-if i want to play online (multiplier), will I be AUTOMATICALLY connected to US servers (since I have chosen US account)? Euorope servers(closer to me)? or will I be asked to choose which one inside the game or xbox settings..etc.?


-Also if it is even possible to go online in the game and get all the new additions, or microsoft will check where I am physically at and restricts me from that?




I would appreciate very much the help guys, Forza Horizon 2 is what I am looking for.

Yes, the Xbox One is region free.

I think if you changes the consoles region back to Europe you should get servers in Europe, however i can't promise you that.

You can purchase DLC just fine, however you will need to use a US gift card to pay for the content.

You have several problems with the 360, the main one been the IP address location checks take place when you download. You need to be downloading from a US IP address otherwise the download will fail and corrupt as you have found out.

The second is not all Xbox 360 games are region free (I think Red Dead Redemption is so you are lucky there) however you could well end up downloading a game locked to the NTSC region, which will not work on a PAL console.

Ah I didn't realize this was the Xbox One guide, I ended up downloading it successfully by switching over to the VPN at around 70% and it seemed to do the IP check at 80% because then it jumped straight to 100% and it worked perfectly!

I have one other question I can't find the answer to so I hope you don't mind if I ask here because I need a reply ASAP. I want to get some DLC now such as Undead Nightmare and the Liars and Cheats multiplayer DLC. I'm just wondering do I need the VPN for the DLC? Will there be any complications I should know about? And if there are would I be able to buy the DLC on another Xbox Live account, which has it's region set to my country and then go onto the US account that bought the game and play the DLC there?

I've been trying to find the answer myself for days but nobody seems to have asked this before. I'm not going to risk wasting money on anything until I know for sure it will actually work. Would suck if I bought the DLC and then discover it's incompatible or something.
 
I would personally purchase the DLC on the same account you used to purchase the game. DLC can vary between regions.

Example: PAL games often have more languages than the NTSC version of the game, it would really depend on the game, however i would personally not risk mixing DLC from other regions.
 
Hi I have purchased FIFA 15 from the India store. It is released in UK and India on the 26th, but it has been released in the US today. I've uninstalled the game and switched to the US region. When I try to install the game, it stops the installation. Does anyone have more information on this? Also I realise this is my first post, so sorry if it doesn't feel like it's a contribution to the forums. I'm stuck with this and really need help. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm having same problem BUT no error codes just says have to wait a bit longer so I deleted and have changed to us and reinstalled from my games and apps section but on the us store it says to purchase game any ideas any help would be appreciated

You need to wait until the game is released in India on the 26th, then you will be able to download and play the game as normal.
 
I am so tempted to spend another £30 and buy it from the US store. Can't believe there's no way around this. Thanks a lot for the reply dude!

i have another interest question i want to play fifa early too but in my case i did't buy from digital store but redeem code that was coming with console bundle (i redeem under uk region). i stil not trying anything but i m curious will i have the same problem as xXBloodKidXx. Is redeeming a code to some of the stores count like purchasing from that store or is it free.Thanks
 
You'll get the game under pre-download. You can't play it. Code redeemed digital downloads are usually region locked.

I can confirm that buying from the US store first will enable the game to boot. Done this today, bought a $60 gift card from Amazon, redeemed it online through this tutorial, and bought FIFA 15 from the US store. I'm from the UK, loads and boots fine... Including online. Cheers for the tutorial.

But if you look that way the code was europe region not uk because the console was bought from greece but because i dont understand greek and on the web if you chose greece evrything is on greek, so i chose to go on uk region with account and with console. ia alredy downloaded the game two weeks ago and i try the game with ea acces but my question was are redeemed codes are counting as purchase from specific store or is it on global level of stores". i know that if i buy key from some site it will be locked by region but this is bundle key, i think that is sould be region free, but i m still afraid to try because of bans and stuff like that
