those are the files in the RAR that the update was in so it looks pretty authentic

 

That's why it's not recommended to install pre-release updates on a console outside the preview program. I'll never do ths sort of thing, I play on Xbox LIVE frequently and it's just not worth it for me.

If you've already installed the pre-release dash on your Xbox, you may aswell install this since it'd take a while for it to be downloaded from XBL.

its about this capture device i bought and i think after looking at it you would buy one

 

so it looks all good and once the update goes public my live will work. right?

 

If the final dash is 14699, you can play on live once the update goes out. If not, you'll be prompted to update to 147XX (unlikely)

The current preview dashboard is 2.0.14699.0. It isn't any different from 2.0.14692.0 P:

im on 14699 and can see the lovefilm app which indicates that it is indeed the final version
