Cold booted my Halo 2 original disc, all the maps work for me. Delete your Halo 2 TDATA folder, redownload the installer from this thread and report back.

hey ..i deleted tdata..redowloaded installer..ran from my apps folder..installed maps,installed game types,then the 1.5 update,cold booted original disc and same thing.i can use the game types but not the maps.can see them in game saves on ms dash, but they not show up in system link games or split screen?i am at aloss?only can use the original 11 maps..i have killtrocity but i really want those maps to work...thanks
 
you are not going to believe this but i got it to work...i used my back up dash to install and everything just magically showed up........got to love unleash-x...thanks for help!!!
 
Sorry I was out at a movie. Lot of action happened when I was away.

So you're saying running the installer from unleashx instead of what dash (xbmc, evox?) made them suddenly work, and they weren't working properly before when launching from your default dash?
 
I use UnleashX to copy discs, and has a faster FTP protocol. I load the installers from XBMC. I never have had a problem outside of the obvious. (FC, MM3)
 
Since XBMC uses filezilla for it's FTP server, and I use Filezilla for my ftp client, I usually transfer FTP with XBMC, and launch all apps with XBMC too. Unfortunately I'm in too much pain to be at my main PC and xbox to test launching the problem installers with UnleashX right now. So if you can, please test the MM3 and Fight Club DLC while launching from UnleashX. I don't see how it could help, but if it does, all the better. Will try to do some testing tomorrow when I can sit up for longer.
 
hey..sorrry things been crazy for me....but what happened was i would use flash ftp to transfer the dlc to my apps folder on e drive...i would then run the installer..it would install the maps and game variants ....also the updates...it said everything was saved to xbox...i would check my game saves for the content on ms dash....they all showed up,but when i went to my xbmc game folder and ran halo 2...it did not show the update number in the bottom corner,,,could not acces the maps.Only the originals showed up...but the game types did show up..i tried everything i could think of and as last resort i went to my apps and ran my unleash x ....reinstalled everything and woala i could use the maps and the game types..then when i go back to xbmc i cant use them...have to use the unleash x dash to use them...no biggie....just keep it as a back up appp

Over 50 people have downloaded that excel file, nobody has messaged me about it. Does nobody want to work on that?

Been playing a lot of Torchlight and tweaking my new netbook, but I'll try to find some time to work on the rest of the to do list. Still no fixes offhand for MM3 and Fight Club, sorry folks I just don't know whats up with those.

Hey, I am new here, but I have been following this topic for a lil while. I was just wondering if anyone got the DLC for MM3 to work yet?

Also is there any other way to get it to work? Sorry If I sound stupid, I am just curious and would really like it if this would work.

Some really nice work here for the people that got all the DLC's too keep them alive for users.

I was wondering if anyone has a roster update file for NHL 2k7? I've been trying to find it on the web, but with not much luck. Maybe someone has a copy of it? I didn't have live at that time to obtain a new roster file.

Hope someone knows of it.

Welcome to Digiex harryt, unfortunately NHL 2K7 is a game I have not seen a title update or a roster update for. I can't be sure any updates for it exist, but if they do I have not seen them from anyone.
 
I do not know if anyone has seen or mentioned this, but I did find an alternative way to get the DLC to MM3 on mm2c.com. This (from what I can tell) involves merging the "Data_dvd" and "Data_hd" folders from a game that has it installed with your game folders on your hard drive. The file download in that post no longer works so I was unable to test it, but it seemed like it worked from the positive responses that people gave.

I just wanted to know if this would be a possible fix for the dilemma that is faced with the MM3 DLC. Even though I am probably the only one in the world who actually really wants it.

You can merge some title updates and dlc into the game files themselves, but it doesn't work for all games. If it works for you for this game awesome!
 
Well, I am going to register at MM2C to see if that guy/girl still has the files. If they do I will try it on my xbox and if it works I will post them here so other people can try. If anyone here or looking at this forum has the DLC successfully installed it would be great if they could upload it.
