Xbox Offline Xbox Live Downloadable Content [DLC] Installers

Saw it, grabbed it, inspected the files a bit, trying to find time to make an installer.

They're all unlockers. Possibly to unlock a tournament, none of them are actual car/skin/part DLC.
Thank you very much for your contribution, this is the first thing I have EVER received for Sega GT Online, and I had a physical copy of the game on Xbox Live.

Merci beaucoup de votre aide.

hey harcroft i was wondering if you know how to make custom dlc maps show up as halo 2 dlc?

i've been trying all sorts of things to get it to work but its always damaged

i've used xlast and a patcher to make a patch_V3.lvl file then packed it altogether as one package but then when trying to test, halo 2 says content is damaged

Good to see you back around dominater01.
I'm not sure how other people do it, but in the past I've used the Xbox Developer Kit software suite software to generate content packages. You can use it to generate the contetmeta.xbx and contentimage.xbx files you need to make the xbox see the content as DLC.

Creating ContentImage.xbx and ContentMeta.xbx Files for Halo 2 DLC
http://ibotmodz.net/forum/topic/225...exbx-and-contentmetaxbx-files-for-halo-2-dlc/

Creating patch_v3.lvl FIles
http://ibotmodz.net/forum/topic/22583-creating-patch-v3lvl-files/

i followed these and i assume this is enough info but im not sure if there's a step missing he says wait for another tut from him but he never posted another one

also if you or anyone knows

how do you make a proper lvl3 .dds file so it shows up on halo 2 properly

the reason im asking this is because mimesis is back up and running and im trying to learn how todo this stuff to help out

I have a TSOP flashed 1.4 console with UnleashX on it, Australian console btw and for the life of me I cannot get any of the DLC to work, even using the NTSC discs I have lying around, the DLC either flags as damaged within its respective games or completely crashes my system when I try to view the DLC in the savegame menu on the Xbox dash itself.

Is anyone able to help me, I am tearing my hair out.

Most likely the problem is your FTP settings. Try using Filezilla and make sure you are set to binary transfer mode, not Ascii. Beyond the files being corrupted/damaged before they get to the xbox, the only other thing I could think of is a region compatability issue with your eeprom.

Dominater01 I don't know anything about generating Halo 2 maps.

Could this be fixed simply by switching the EEPROM to NTSC before installing the content? I have transferred everything in Binary mode but I might just redownload everything and try again, files themselves could be corrupt.

dlc does not work for me with ntsc version of halo 2 ! on hdd
but when i put in my halo 2 cd pal version the dlc is showing up in the halo2 cd pal game !
why is that

is the dlc region free ??

Hello,
I signed up here today because I want to say thank you for all the hard work. And maybe, I can give something back to you because I have DLC on my original xbox too. =)

"PSO" is the "Central Dome Fire Swirl" DLC for Phantasy Star Online I&II + Savefile
"MM3" contains the 2 Track- and 4 Car-Packs for Midtown Madness 3 + Savefile
And "FCI" contains 59 user created Multiplayer-Maps for FarCry Instincts + Savefiles

I'm glad you got some enjoyment and use out of this project. I appreciate the thanks. You're most welcome.

I took a look at the content you sent. The MM3 and PSO content you sent is just savegames, no actual DLC. By the looks of it you took it from the udata folder. The overwhelming majority of the data came from the $u folder.

As for the user created maps, if you want to add those to a separate thread you are more then welcome to. This thread and more specifically this project is dedicated to official DLC released by game publishers. The closest thing we have to savegames and user content is Bungies official gametypes for the Halo 2 DLC installer.

If you are able to dump the same folders from the tdata folder on your hard drive please let us know!
Thanks again.

We already have some Midtown madness 3 DLC up, but I can go over it later.
As for PSO it looks like there is a title update and 1 piece of content.

Name=Central Dome Fire Swirl

I will look at building up an installer for it tonight.

Its not on the first page. I think you wrote on another page that there was a problem with the files.

I guess the title-update is the default.xbe in the $u folder? Maybe I have more title updates of other games.

Hello, I have been reading those forums since a while, and decided to sign-up. Eventually being sad after looking for the midtown madness 3 DLC and seeing it was kind of missing, (well uploaded just above bot missing content, also on another website that just has the raw data without any installer) I just found on my archive HDD that I have a back-up from installers uploaded on the now defunct isozone. What an irony. Well I guess it goes either way :)

Edited: I had the PAL version of MtG. Loaded up my old xbox and grabbed the NTSC version and it worked like a charm.

I found a DOA3 Skin disc. Should I upload?

109 mb, posted a mediafire link. Waiting for mod approval.

How nice of someone at ISOzone to remove all credit, contact information and anything pointing to where people could contribute their own content from our installers. A few different sites have these packages. Someone put a lot of effort into screwing over everyone who contributed their time, effort and money to put the project together. The Readme is missing a lot of information.

The MM3 DLC never worked properly. There was some other content check that I don't know anything about that made some of the DLC not work. Fight Club had something similar.
If I can find some time I'll look into that DLC again and for Fight Club the DLC is just music tracks, which can be just installed as music tracks instead of DLC so I may try that.
