Xbox Offline Xbox Live Downloadable Content [DLC] Installers

What is actually in the Dead or Alive Ultimate DLC? I can find no other information about this DLC's existence apart from this pack. And the pack details nor content of the DLC reveal what this DLC is. Anybody know?
Where was this DLC gotten from?

PS: Thank you for this massive DLC effort, much appreciated!

Dead or Alive Ultimate 1 and 2 does not have DLC, it has a game update/title update.
It allows you to see the player ranking while spectating a match, fixes some offline bugs including a tag story mode bug. Thanks to PontonFSD for the detailed info.

Thank you! This might be good info to add to the initial post so that others may see it.

New installer with all Karaoke Revolution DLC added to the first page. These 6 packs are included in the Karaoke Revolution Party megapack previously released, but it's still nice to have another game complete.

New installers!
Amped 2 - previously unknown Slopestyle 2 DLC with 3 new "Sk8" runs.
Guilty Gear XX #Reload Japan title update.
Midtown Madness Japan update

Stay tuned for more in the next week including:
Unreal Championship Japan update (complete, needs testing)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein all remaining DLC (it's identical to the existing DLC)
Tetris Worlds Online more TUs that replaces the "compatibility patch" installer.

Thank you Swagger from the Halo Classic Hub community! Your contribution has been huge!

Hey,

please keep Up the good Work! Seems by far the Best source for Dlcs and Updates.

Are the Files by any Chance working with a Backwards conpatible rgh Xbox 360? If so, how to?

If Not, is there any source for the original Files?

E: i read the Post and got my answer sorry. So i Just ask the Same Thing for the ones that are Not listed as jtag/Glitch compatible since that list is way smaller.

Kind regards,

Braeg

The installers work on 360 backwards compatbility. Sometimes the 2nd installer for Title Updates will not run on BC, so there are JTAG/RGB installers in the first post just for title updates.

The DLC and update files can be found in the /content/ folder under /c and /u respectively in each installer..

I hope that helps.

Thank you! Helps a lot. Just wanted nothing to go horribly wrong. Will try it out.

Appreciated. Have a good one please!

E: mechassault 2 dlc Installer does not get past the Xbox Splashscreen (rgh 3 Xbox 360).

How to make it work to Install the dlc at least :

Use xefuspoofer with xefu7b.xex

Theres a tut from mrmario on YouTube for xefuspoofer

Made it work :)

The following download links on the first page of this post I can't get them to download on to my pc.
Title Updates (Patches) For Jtagged Xbox 360's:
These installers contain no instructions but if you have a JTAG/Glitch console you should know what you're doing here.
Counter-Strike JTAG Update (Updated March 15, 2023)
Halo 2 JTAG Update (Updated June 15, 2014)

Unreal Championship installer updated (v3 now) with both title updates and now only has 1 set of DLC to install. Other DLC sets can go in an archival pack, an installer doesn't need 3 sets of identical content with a different offeringID.

I tested both updates myself on Insignia.
Next up to Tetris Worlds updates.

Thank you for the Halo 2 DLC Installer. It made things for my recent LAN party really easy to get things working.

I was curious if you could point me to info on how the installer signs stuff to get it working. I'm curious about this process and would like to learn.

I also noticed that /E/TDATA/4d530064/$C/4d53006400000004/highplains.map was missing. highplains2.map was there but it would not work on System Link. Luckily I had downloaded the DLC via the XBMC4Gamers and was able to FTP this map to the other 4 Xboxes without having to install that dashboard. I wasn't sure if this was a bug.

I installed the v1.5 update first, restarted the Xbox from the menu, then installed the maps and game modes. It didn't seem to want to work properly when I installed the maps and games modes before the title update. Not sure if I did something wrong or not.

CDX, the menu system I used in the DLC installers signs DLC the same way the system does when downloading from Xbox Live.
If you want to look at some C code that does the same thing you can check out this tool by Feudalnate https://github.com/feudalnate/XBX-Content-Tool

Highplains is supposed to be missing. I included the original version on Xbox live contained some glitches and the DLC package was replaced with an identically named Blastacular Map pack and numbered 4d53006400000004 offeringID.
The original package is also included in the installer under the Extras submenu. The second version of the map pack with Highplains2 is the definitive DLC. You should always be using that when playing online, especially on Insignia.

A Title Update has to be present for each map pack. You should install Update 5 for your language copy of Halo 2 to load all 4 map packs and to play online. Insignia enforces this. 1.5 will appear on the start screen.

Thanks Harcroft. I'm looking forward to checking out the signing code. :)

I noticed when I was setting up for a LAN party using System Link that Tombstone threw an error when trying to setup a game. It was only after I ftp'ed only the highplains.map over to /E/TDATA/4d530064/$C/4d53006400000004/ that it worked. I copied this map from a previous DLC download via xbmc4gamers DLC option. Highplains2.map was already there after running your DLC installer.

I wrote an article yesterday for how to set up a Halo 2 LAN Party on consolemods and wanted to run through setting everything up one more time using your Halo 2 DLC installer to make sure the article is 100% accurate. My goals is to get all content working as simply as possible.

I will try the original package in the Extras submenu and see what happens.

Do you happen to know if I simply copied and renamed highplains2.map to highplains.map if it would work with System Link?

If I installed both the original blastacular map package from the Extras submenu then the Update 5 if it would work via System Link?

It seems that System Link is only looking for highplains.map (not highplains2.map) and I'm not sure why after running the DLC installer.

My friends & I appreciate your help and your awesome DLC Installers. It makes things easy to setup for LAN parties!

Hey Harcroft,
I recently got Xemu setup, and was trying to get the dlc for Project Gotham Racing 2 installed. I tried by ftping the installer I already had on my real xbox and running it on Xemu, but every time after I installed the dlc the game said the "content was damaged." I then deleted the $c folder for the game and tried a few more times with no success. I did use binary transfer with Filezilla when transferring.

I then downloaded a fresh install folder from this website and still get the same issue.

I am using the xdvdfs web page to pack the installer into an .xiso for Xemu and am currently running Xemu version 0.8.96

Not sure if you are currently supporting Xemu as of yet or if something is wrong on my end.

The update also did not work and I had to install from Insignia for it work.

Any insight appreciated!

You don't FTP into Xemu, it's a pain to do, and takes a long time. Make an xISO of the installer folder using Qwix https://digiex.net/threads/qwix-1-0...gement-and-iso-creation-extraction-tool.8499/
Load that xISO as a normal game, run the installer, eject the installer xISO and load your game.

Make sure you install the correct update for your game!
There are 2 different TUs for PGR2. NTSC+NTSC-J, and PAL.

Well, using that same installer folder but using Qwix as the builder of the xISO worked. Note to anyone having issues, dont use the xdvdfs website for making xISOs, at least for this specific installer.

Thanks for your help Harcroft.

EDIT: Holy Cow. Use Qwix for making all xISOs. Multiple Games I have had issues running on XEMU work now.
