Original Xbox games on a modern PC, with the console's hardware emulated closely: that's xemu. It runs a large part of the Xbox library on Windows, Mac and Linux, and it can connect to the Insignia online service.
Download:
Download xemu 0.8.136
Unzip the download and run xemu.exe. In its settings, point it at your own dumps of the Xbox BIOS and MCPX boot ROM, a blank hard drive image, and the game you want to play.
Tip: the BIOS and boot ROM have to come from an Xbox you own, but you don't need to build the blank hard drive image yourself, because the xemu project provides one.
