Alan Wake Elderwood and Bright Falls Premium Theme Downloads

could putting the themes in the wrong folder damage your harddrive?

You can put it in any folder and it will work fine
doesnt mean its supposed to be there

My list of folder id's is correct you can open the files
in a hex editor and check byte 000360 for the folder id

A mistake was made somehow I guess, I have corrected the folder structure to original as possible.

You keep mentioning folder structures, as far as i'm aware all the other downloads are correct? Not every theme I have uploaded was ripped by myself, however I have tested them all.

I just re-downloaded the zip's and checked

all are correct apart from

454108A8 Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Missing its folder id
FFFE07C3 Holiday 2008 Theme Wrong Folder id
4D5388BB Mass Effect Normandy Theme Wrong Folder id
494D8851 OXM - Left 4 Dead Theme Wrong Folder id
494D8843 OXM : Resident Evil 5 Wrong Folder id
584109C2 Perfect Dark E3 Wrong Folder id
5858080A Xtival 2009 Wrong Folder id

I notice another easy way to know the folder id, just take the first 8 digits of the name of the file and that's the folder id.

can i get banned for doing this?

No. There is no possible way you can get banned. If you modded your console to use premium themes that you have to pay for then you would, but these themes are not console locked for a reason. If they didn't want people to share free themes then Microsoft would console lock them, but they don't. The only exceptions to this rule are the Fallout 3 DLC and the first two DLC from Borderlands. If you could get the files for those ripped from the Disk then you could use them even though they aren't free content. Obviously, Digiex doesn't have that specific content uploaded here for that reason, even though it isn't console locked. So, if it works on your 360 (without modding it), you can use it without repercussions (except for those two instances above).

Thanks for your answer i was a little worried about getting banned but you made a good point, microsoft would lock them and that digiex care about us :D

this is usually true
but some files its not

with regards to being banned
its not very likley but its best to have the files in the correct folders to be safe

First of all Thanks for this nice theme :D

I downloaded the theme and explored my xbox HD with xport360.

I opend the content folder opend the 00000 folder and then created 2 new folders like the folders i extracted. In there i placed the 2 files.

Only i don't see the theme's on my xbox. When i reconnect the HD xport360 tels me the folder contains alan wake theme or gamertag.

What am i doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

UPDATE: Nevermind!!! I was browsing the forum and finaly found a xplorer360 version compatible with my 60Gig HD :D
When i used this i saw that the dir name was fucked up! known problems with xport360.

So now i fixed it :D
