About the Member Card:

The Member Card is a Key Item that can be used to enter the inn in Canalave City, in order to access the Newmoon Island, where Darkrai resides.
It was distributed between 2008 and 2009 ONLY FOR POKÉMON PLATINUM, but it is programmed also in Diamond and Pearl.

A Darkrai caught in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will be ILLEGAL, so it can be traded beetween 4th gen games, can be transfered in 5th gen, but it WON'T PASS the Pokémon Bank legality check so it can't (legally) go in gen 6th+.

About this ROM:

I made this CUSTOM AND UNOFFICIAL distribution ROM using official Wonder Cards, modified to work also with Diamond and Pearl, and injecting them in the Deoxys Distribution Cart 2008 ROM with Pokémon WCD Patcher 1.0.0.

This distribution can be obtained by:

- Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum
- WON'T work with Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver (obv)

You need:

- A DS/DSi/3DS with your 4th gen Pokémon game
- A 2nd DS/DSi/3DS with a DS flashcart (like R4) or a modded DSi/3DS with TWiLight Menu++ to play the ROM
- You DON'T need to set a specific date, it will work anyway

This pack includes:

- ENG, ITA, SPA, DEU, FRA, JAP, KOR custom Member Card distribution ROM
- ENG, ITA, SPA, DEU, FRA, JAP, KOR official PCD Wonder Cards (they can be injected with PKHeX)

- ENG, SPA, DEU, FRA, JAP, KOR - ProjectPokemon.org
- ITA - my personal Pokémon Platinum save file

Hey man, aweseome roms, i´m looking for the secret key (JPN) one aswell. If u have it, please, i´m almost begging you xd to post it hehe
 
Something that might be helpful with making these distro carts is there was a blog with both english and japanese that made a bunch of distros for event key items and event mons from gen 4 and 5. I'll post it here if I can find the blog again but they had over 100 events iirc.

Edit: I found it note: there are diffient distros on different blog posts this just a slice of them.

Yes if you catch it in Pokémon Platinum. On Pokémon Diamond and Pearl the event would be illegal as explained in the original post.

There was a work around for the longest time if you used members card in diamond and changed the darkrai's move set and level: you could transfer it up. Was that finally fixed at some point?
 
I’ve downloaded the Azure Flute, Member Card and Oak’s Letter ROM’s. I’ve used the WCP app to modify the Deoxys distribution and followed the guide. I’m getting hit with an error while attempting to distribute the items, the message says “Distribution not available now”. I set the time to unlimited in the patcher so I'm not sure why I'm getting this message. Something interesting I noticed, if I set the date to June 20th 2008, the date of the Deoxys event, it will distribute Deoxys even though I overwrote that file. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated. TIA
