Digiex Exclusive: Download the Xbox 360 NXE Dashboard

Digiex has managed to obtain the installer for the new Xbox 360 NXE Dashboard which will be released on the 19th of November, to install its just a simple case of copying the update a CD or USB flash drive and putting it in your console.

If you upgrade to the new dash before the 19th you will not be able to sign in to Xbox Live on that console until after the 19th.

Very nice! Great videos made aswell! Im not sure if to do it or not... All I do is play on live.. exept when on fifa but Im always talking to someone.
 
If you can live without live for 19 days you got nothing to lose, I only installed it because we have more than one console in the house and only one of us has a live subscription ;)

If your paying for live I would wait as you would be going 3 weeks without it.
 
What type of things do I need to have to install this on my 360?
I tried a disk, but it didn't work. I will have to wait until tomorrow until I get my Flash Drive. I don't think it will work then either. Can you help me out on my Disk problem?
 
All you need is a USB. Extract the file to your USB and then insert it onto your desktop. That would probably be the easy way. (I hope im right).

I don't have one.

I tried disk again, Its a CD-R
Do I need a DVD-R or something?
 
You cannot get rid of the update after installing it.

@ Alentis - I'm not sure about what sort of CD you must use. You may be able to use something that has a USB connection such as a PSP or mobile phone. (Not too sure.)

I'm trying it with my KRZR, it has a Micro-SD, and USB. Should that work?
 
how are you certain that you cannot remove the update? It is hard to believe that you could not just remove the harddrive or memory card.
 
i downloaded the leaked nxe update,put it onto pen drive,selected to update when asked on the xbox.but its telling me today that i am banned from xbox live,hence me getting leaked version,so when i try to install leaked version,it starts installing but cant get online and so will not install,any ideas?thanks
 
Maybe banned consoles have been disabled from installing the NXE? I’m not really sure.

You could unplug the network cable and try to install install the NXE, I know that’s what a lot of people did before it was officially out and no one was asked to go online to install it.
