Gen 5 distributions not working.

I have the original r4 revolution for ds and a dsi xl. Gen 4 distributions all seem to work fine for me, but the gen 5 distributions seem to not work at all. By what I mean for that is when I am sure I set the date right for a distribution and open the distribution on the r4 in my ds system, the screen says distribution not available even though I changed the date to the right dates for each distribution. I've tried several gen 5 distributions, but it just isn't working and stays on the distribution not available screen.

I suspect it's a problem with having an older flash card.

You could try the Wood R4 firmware here: https://forum.romulation.net/threads/wood-r4-the-new-firmware-99-8-compatibility-ck3.39701/ and launch the distribution from that. People have had success getting later distributions to work with that firmware.
