Pokemon Aurora Ticket Distribution USA GBA Cartridge Rom Download [USA]

Could someone explain to me how you would do this with an EZ Flash Omega I am very new to this.

Copy the rom to the EZ Flash Omega, connect a GBA wireless adaptor and switch the GBA on, the distribution will start distributing.

On another GBA load either Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen, connect the Wireless adaptor, go to Mystery Gift which is on the title screen under new game > Wireless and you will receive the gift.

If you don't see Mystery gift as on option go to any Poke Mart and find the clipboard on the main counter. From here, enter the phrase "LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL" using the word bank system. The clerk will inform you you can use Mystery Gift, save your game. Mystery Gift will now be an option on the main menu before you continue your game.

The video in the first post shows the process of how the distribution works if you are unsure.

Just copy the ROM in your SD card, turn on your GBA, click on the ROM file, choose 128FLASH as SAVE TYPE and start with CLEAN BOOT.

If you did't use the flashcart before and you have a totally clean SD card, first of all you have to set up the correct firmware and kernel.

Hello,

I have been lurking the forums for a while downloading virtually every distribution ROM and I noticed something off with the requirements for this distribution. I was looking online to see if the European version had surfaced as my games are all in Spanish and ran into this video:

In it you can see the user distribute the ticket to a Spanish version of FRLG, so I decided to test it myself by ripping my Rojo Fuego and Esmeralda ROM+SAV and see if the method in the video works with the US Aurora ticket distribution stored here. As per the video I was able to get it to work with Rojo Fuego, but no luck with Esmeralda (a man can dream). I am looking to get a couple wireless adapters to test on real hardware now that I know it should work and it wouldn't be a waste of money for me to get them, and could eventually provide proof, but maybe someone here has the 2 adapters and can test it with non-English carts before me to amend the description as the games released in Europe before the US event making it plausible for someone to happen to be in the US with a foreign cart during the distribution period. This would allow people like me to be one step closer to a legit (in my eyes) National Dex in gen 3 (still don't know where to get that Celebi with only Spanish language gen 3 games, but that's another issue).

Sadly the US Aurora Ticket distribution rom doesn't support Emerald. The European one would, but none of the collector who own the real cart has shared the rom online.

The "more legit" way is to inject the legit Wonder Card directly on your save file with this tool.

Has anyone tried this with 3rd party wireless adapters? Or does it have to be the official one from Nintendo?

I've only tested with the official Nintendo wireless adaptors, which work fine. Not sure about 3rd party ones.

I figured, I’m guessing it’s the same thing with the GameCube link cables, correct? To hook into Pokémon Coliseum to get Jirachi

3rd party GC to GBA cables do not work if you are using a Wii and Nintendont to load GameCube games, i've been there, done that and ended up purchasing an official GC to GBA link cable, which worked totally fine first time.

for anyone still trying to do this via emulation, I recommend Pizza Boy GBA Pro on android, open the distribution rom first(will be host) then select multiplayer(local wireless) and when prompted if same rom, select different rom and select your fire red rom(with a mystery gift unlocked save) then 2 instances of it will run on your android and the distribution will complete on same device.

as of writing this, pizza boy GBA pro is removed from playstore by author but i had it purchased so i am still able to download, have fun!

Has anyone here been able to use it with RetroArch?
I know it is possible with Pizza Boy A for Android, and for windows it works with VBA-1.8.0-beta3-link, but that emulator is from 2006-ish. Nowadays we use RetroArch, but I can't make it work with Netplay.
Whenever I start the distribution rom, it says as in the image..

I suspect you are not emulating the GBA Wireless adaptor on RetroArch from looking at that error, you'd have to configure RetroArch to do that.

Since the Mystic Ticket distribution cartridge hasn't been dumped yet, the only other way I found to get it legally (i.e., without resorting to save editors like PkHex) was to use the FR/LG re-releases for Switch.

I simply used the Eden emulator to load my LeafGreen save file from my EZ Flash Omega DE into the re-released Switch version, and all I had to do was beat the Pokémon League with a pokemon without the Champion Ribbon to get the two tickets. Fortunately, I had no trouble transferring the save file back to the original GBA version, and I was able to catch all three legendary Pokémon this afternoon.

The first option was automatically ruled out because it falls into the category of external programs I wanted to avoid.

The second option could have been useful if I had known it existed.

In any case, I needed the ROM of the Switch version for the TCRF article about the differences with the GBA version of Pokémon RedFire/LeafGreen.

Since I have my two FR/LG save files, I should take the opportunity to get the other event Pokémon that are uploaded to the forum.
