You weren't on LT2.0. There is a warning that states not to update if you're aren't on 1.9 or 2.0. You'll have to update your disc drive before you can finish the update.

Hi!
When i´m want to play x-men: Destiny a screen come up that said that i need to update…i have ixtreme lt+ 2.0 & dashboard: 2.0.13146.0 (liteon drive in xbox 360) is it safe to apply the update from the game? to dashboard: 2.0.13599.0

13599 is the dashboard that will flash your drive.if you get a error you need to get your drive key so you can flash your drive.

Flash to stock then update to 13599 then to the latest public dash,then flash back to lt+ 2.0
 
Hi Guys,

I am new to this i wanted to try out flashing my drive. But now i have 1.91 and 12XXX dash. Can just follow the tutorial and flash it... then hope to get dash 13559 with the DVD ROM flashed correctly? I saw some threads that just i can just do this without the revert to OFW.

Then i will flash it to 13604 and followed by LT2.0

Thanks man. I would not want to brick my xbox360 so i hope you guys can help me :)
 
If you update to this firmware it will revert your disc drive back to OFW. It would be best to flash to OFW and then update so you don't flag the console. So revert to OFW, update and then upgrade to LT 2.0. Although I would say wait until Dec 6th as the new dashboard along with LT 3.0 will be released.
 
I see, It will revert the firmware no issue, but it will also flag the Console because there was illegal firmware mods right?

So if i got flagged i can still play originals and backups just get banned in LIVE is my understanding correct?

It would ban the console from live and if you tried to use your profile and gamesaves on another 360 they would show up as corrupt. It is possible to make them uncorrupt but a bit of a pain. There might be a few other little things that happen too but can't remember. So yes, you would still be able to play originals and backups.

I was thinking of going towards no firmware by using the "key" :) no more DVD ROM firmware customization.

I have the 2.0.13599.0 dash on on my jtag but can't use the avatar function. It tells me I need to get on xbox live and download an update. Is that what this is? I have tried to install it with a usb but it never does anything. Someone let me know what I am doing wrong here thanks.
 
Yes this is the update you need, have you got Dash Launch installed?

If yes you need to edit your launch.ini and change noupdater = true to noupdater = false

After that the system update will be able to restore the avatars.
