hi i have a flashed xbox (lite-on drive) with firmware 1.51 , been playing all my games converted on wave 3 to this day...
if i update my dashboard, for the kinect, will this affect my firmware, or my wave 3 games running, in any way ????
i really dnt wna find out dat i cnt play my games after the update..

also i am banned on xbox live alredy so thats not an issue for me.

Access is controlled on the server side, we can not magically modify this dash to make the MS servers think our console id / keyvault is on the allowed list.
You will break the signature of the update if you modify it so the 360 will simply not allow you to flash it.

Its not going to happen, it would be possible on a jtag im more than sure... but then you going to get banned anyway so whats the point?

If you could modify system updates a hell of a lot more 360's out there would be running FreeBoot and be homebrew enabled.

For people who want live access dont update, if you dont care about not having live access for 2 months then update away :)

thanks you and also exciting nes leaked from m$ the kinect dashboard update will be live on november 4st with the launch of new prices and familt gold pack.

no all the consoles say that the server is saying theres live but it wont let you in because of your console id is not on the beta list
 
Too bad though... while the dashboard works good, there are other parts that wouldn't work.. like missing avatar awards. I mean it's there but it won't display.

Well, that's only a small thing but there are certainly small bugs to it. cheers to the update though. \m/
 
How can i downgrade to the previous update (NXE Dashboard Update 2.0.9199.0)
 
Ok I am accepted for the Xbox Live Beta Program Can I apply InsaneNutter's Upload and still get on LIVE?? and can you post a video of you on LIVE now with the new Dashboard?
