It would be possible to play back ups using the LT+ firmware

I have Xbox 360 Elite model.. an NTSC-J
Its Oct '09 model.. and it is modded..
So few days ago i bought NFS Hot Pursuit pirated Disc,
it said that my Console requires an update and i can only play the game if i update my console, so i did updated, it took only 3-4 minutes..
and i got New Kinect Dashboard, but the is still not playable.. It is showing "The Disc is Unreadable"
Same was the case with my Harry Potter 7 game but it is playable now..
So should i update my console to this update?
Will that update do any harm to my console?
Waiting for answer..
 
Hello everyone! so i got a new Xbox 360 elite, it is modified and i also have a Xbox 360 kinect, my question is if i update my console with this, can i still play pirated games? i'm sorry i'm a new xbox owner and all this update thingys just confuse me, what are the things i have to do?? thank you!!

You have now been flagged to be banned anyway, you need the latest LT+ firmware flashed to your DVD drive to play newer "backed up" games

If you have the latest LT+ firmware then yes, if not then then no.

Hello,

I have got the new xbox 360 with kinnect FW 2.0.12416.0, i tried to join xbox live but it asked to update to a newer version!!!! isn't 2.0.12416.0 the last version.

finally if updated to the next version knowing that I am waiting for the LT+ for pirated games, would this affect the modifying with by LT+ ?

hi, iam new to this forum! hope you guys would help me!
I have a modded xbox 360. I recently got myself fifa 12, which upon inserting asked for an update. I proceeded, but the update got stuck in between, then i downloaded an update 2.0.13599.0. I installed it.
But now none of my games are working, upon inserting the dvd the xbox 360 white screen appears and nothing happens then.

Pls guide me on what to do, or which firmware to apply and from where can i get it?

Hi can you please help me if i up date will i lose my flash or have to re flash my drive many thanks on the kincet update on the 2.0 or will i not not be able to play my back up game please help

hi i just update my modded xbox ..anyway can verified for me is that my xbox flashed with iextreme 2.0?
my xbox can read and play pirated Gear of war 3 , MOW 3, Saint Row the third,MGS Peace walker and all the latest game .
currenly firmware : 2.0.13604.0

If you have a flashed Xbox i would personally not update for now, you do not need to and your going to need LT+ 3.0.
