Xbox Offline Xbox Live Downloadable Content [DLC] Installers

Like to thank everyone involved in this project :) Dusted off my xbox for some nostalgia gaming during my upcoming semester break, to which the addition of these dlc's has greatly increased the anticipation of myself and other house mates, so thanks again. That said:

- The SW:KotOR Installer (Yavin IV) is only (i assume) compatible with NTSC versions of the game. i couldn't get it to work with my PAL version for the life of me, resulting in a "Corrupt Files" related message every time I tried. I believe this is also the case with the DLC (missing from your master list, had to grab it from theisozone) for Midtown Madness 3, again receiving a corrupt files related message. I tried FTP'ing and transferring with a fatx formatted usb, and both times received the error. I got SW:KotOR working by borrowing a mates NTSC copy, but MM3 is still "OOB" as it were.

- All the other installers i used worked like a charm :D ie Halo 2, Phantom Dust, Forza.

I'm not sure if the DLC for the original Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is region specific, but if it is, i have a PAL copy of the game that came with a 'Bonus Disk', apparently containing '3 new maps and more!' if that would help. Can send you an untouched xiso if you'd like?

Again, thanks so much :)

Midtown Madness 3 has been very problematic over the years, see here. It's been talked about on and off a lot over the years this thread has been going.

I gave Harcroft a copy of the MM3 DLC downloaded from live on my console using a PAL copy of the game, this still works on my console to this day. I know others have provided copies of the DLC too, without any luck getting the installer working correctly unfortunately!

You can work around it however with the instruction here and the MM3 DLC package i've attached to this post. That's probably the best we will get for MM3 anytime soon.

Wow, thanks so much @InsaneNutter!!! worked great except for the lack of car name in on the car menu >_< The DLC is awesome, and cant wait to show my mates who've never seen it before :) Ta muchly

Thanks everyone for the download links. This alone has encouraged me to softmod my Xbox.

Would there be anyway to download dlc from the Pro Evolution Store for the older Winning Eleven games? I'd really like the added six star difficulty mode on the game.

I would have been able to help you previous to April 14 2010 but now it is simply too late to download any new XBL content as the live servers are permanently shut down. If you can find someone who has already downloaded the DLC (if any exists) I'd be happy to make an installer for you.

Ok, thanks for replying.

Its not that big of a deal I guess. I'll be more than happy with all the other DLC installers available. I'm just waiting on an xbox to USB cable to come, then I'll softmod my xbox.

Thank you so much for making all of the installers!! I really wish there was a way to get all the cars on Sega GT Online. I remember having them a long time ago on my old xbox. Sucks I sold it!

On another note, I tried installing the Halo 2 DLC and I keep getting a message when trying to install saying "No definition file (either b:\cdxmedia\cdx_1.inx". What does that mean? I FTP'ed the file to my E: on my softmodded Xbox.

BlkShelby14 you had an error with your FTPing. Either your inx file is damaged or didn't copy. Copy the entire installer back to your console and make sure your charset isn't set to ASCII or Ansi. It should be set to Binary or autodetect.

Finally got everything working! The problem was I didn't have enough space in the directory I was trying to install to. Lol! Thanks again for your help!

How to mod my xbox

What is the best way to mod an xbox? Everywhere I look there either aren't enough details to get me through the process of modding it, or I have some sort of problem because I have a 64 bit OS on my PC or I don't have and can't get some thing that instruction needs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have always wanted to play the DLC for PGR2 but I never got access to live in time!

Do you have one of the exploitable games? 007 Agent Under Fire, Splinter Cell or Mech Assault. Having a 64bit OS on your PC really shouldn't matter. The hardest part will be getting the exploitable save game on to a memory stick, however its possible to browse the contents on a 64bit OS using tools such as Xplorer 360.

I don't think there is a 64bit driver for Action Replay, that would cause a big problem.

Your best bet for the exploit game is Splinter Cell (stealth action redefined) NOT Chaos Theory, Pandora Tomorrow or anything else. Later versions of 007 and Mechassault don't work for the exploit.

Honestly if you're not savvy enough to put together a PC to get an exploit save on an xbox formatted flash drive and connect it to your xbox, or to get an exploit save onto an xbox memory card, your best bet is asking someone to send you an xbox memory card with a save on it already, and possibly an exploit game if you can't find one yourself.

You could also try this: https://digiex.net/downloads/downlo...-2-8-softmod-xbox-1-007-agent-under-fire.html

Honestly I googled how to softmod xbox and found pages and pages of results, while the guide I used when I first started about 10 years ago is gone, there are still plenty out there,

I have splinter cell and I started to try a guide but when I get to the part for updating the driver for the flash drive, it wont let me because the drive would no longer be compatible with my version of windows. Are there other drivers that would work with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit?

As I said, there is no 64bit driver for the xbox save pack PERIOD. You need to use a 32bit OS (preferably XP). Borrow a computer, or get someone else to do it for you.

This is why I keep a 32bit windows XP partition on my laptop.

WelI I checked with everyone I know and no one still has a pc running anything less than 64 bit windows 7. Is there a good place I can get/buy a preloaded xbox memory card with the mod on it already?

You could try setup an XP Virtual machine in VMware Player, you can pass real USB devices through to the Virtual Machine: VMware Player Plus: Easiest Way to Run a Virtual Machine | United States

Also you can get a cable that will let you connect a USB device directly to the Xbox's controller port, you will need a old usb flash drive though as the Xbox is kinda fussy with the ones it will recognise. However when the Xbox recognises the usb drive it will format the drive as FatX. After you can read that on 64bit Windows perfectly with all the tools capable of reading FatX formatted Xbox 360 hard drives.

You can get a cable like the above on Ebay: Xbox USB Cable Microsoft Converter Keyboard Adapter New | eBay

I already have one of those cables, I got one because the guide I was using said I needed one. I tried plugging my usb into the xbox and it worked and was recognized by the xbox but once I put it back into my computer, it is not recognized there. What would be the next step in getting things onto the drive?
