Xbox One External USB Storage Device Converter (Xbox One formatted USB drives on PC)

Unless anything has recently changed as far as i'm aware you can't really do much with the files on your PC at this point. I've mainly used this to save a few betas I was apart of.

User content such as saves is synced to the cloud.

If you managed to extract the installed games from one external hard drive i'd imagine you will be able to copy them back. It might be safer to just copy them to an external usb drive then you can copy them back to the internal hard drive if desired on the Xbox One its self. That way you don't have to open your new Xbox One and void the warranty.

I am trying to do something similar to what you are describing here, my old Xbox no longer turns on so I have taken the internal HDD out and connected it to a USB 3.0 Enclosure and copied all user content to my laptop and I have another external HDD formatted to Xbox one format and I ave used your application to change it to PC mode and now transferring data to it before I change it back to Xbox mode once I have done this do you think I will be able to access all information when I connect HDD to my new Xbox one? obviously I didn't want to void warranty on new Xbox one by opening it up and swapping Hdd's?

Do you think this will work? or any recommendations would be appreciated.

Any installed games should in theory show up, i mean its worth a try if their on the USB drive. Worst case is you have to re download them.

All your saves should be synced to the cloud though and just sync back to the new console regardless.

man, i hope you're still active. my sagate 4tb HDD took a crap on my last night. each time i try to plug it in the Xbox it says "we see your hard drive but the signal is weak, try using a different USB port". so i went out and bought a new WD 5tb drive. when the old one is plugged in i can see all my games but sense "the signal is weak" i can't do anything with them, i tried your program on both the new and old drive and for some reason it says no Xbox drive found when i hit scan, and yes i am using administrator. i really didn't want to have to re download all my games on this new drive one by one. any advice?

for me, i cna download it but when i search for it, its not there, and when i do look it up in my windows search bar all that comes is the download, and pressing it just downloads it again

Hello, I tried this with XBOX series S external storage but it crashed my PC, does it support XBOX series S?
