I have DSL and I think I am going to switch to Fiber Optics as well. Fiber Optics seem to be much faster than my SBC DSL.

apprently unlimited. i have been with aol since 2004 and have had unlimted usage. my speed i get rite now is 3mb but they promised me yesterday that theyll make sure that the speed goes up if i stay with them. o2 from what ive heard don do much about d/l usage. i think limit would 100gb since my unlce has got it and he uses 100gb approx d/l each month.

Im thinking of also going the fibre optics route, wanna still price the packages that we have, at the moment our only "Fibre Optics" contender is "NEOTEL" and from what i hear about this Provider its doing quite well, so im also looking to get a line from them! Anybody else heard of Neotel, is it internationally known or is it just in S.A, cause so far it was just released about a few months back, but it beat our now old service provider (TELKOM that we've had for about as long as i can remember) hands down in the 1st couple of months of its release!!!

Both of those deals sound way better then what I'm paying. Though phone is added (no long distance) I pay $50 a month for local phone and DSL.

I would probably go for AOL as they give free tech support (sometimes that can cost up to $50 when they aren't free). Also there is no contract, its nice to not have to pay money for breaking a contract.

Might be worth seeing of AOL can up your speed then decide.

Still doing line checks as its a new line so my speed changes daily until they can find my maximum sustainable speed. Today seems to be 10mbit day!

Just upgraded to Sky's 20mb connection but Im still in the testing stage which takes up to 10 days. They start you off low and slowly take you up, testing the line.
