Although the game works really well I have one problem, which I hope you guys can help me with.

Mymouse is really slow when playing Theme Hospital, is there anything to do to solve this and get the mouse back to normal speed?

Novice Needs Help!

Hi, im wondering if anybody could help me. I am completely naive when it comes to computers and have tried to get theme hospital on my windows 7 laptop but it has been a disaster! I have tried to follow everyones advice on here but the jargon has proved too much for me! I have played theme hospital for years and really want to keep playing it, and was wondering if there was anyone who could explain to me in a way I will understand how I can get it onto my windows 7? If thats possible would be so great! I am a complete novice. Thanks! J

House is that good you really shouldn't be doing anything else apart from watching it :P

D3DWindower might work not tested it myself but maybe something to try?

D3DWindower is application to emulate DirectX behaviour and run them in a window.
If you like to often switch between apps, internet browser, instant messenger and game this app is for you !

Unfortnately D3DWindower is in Japaneese but little bit translated version (optionss) exists aswell

I have tried the patch that was posted, and save it to my computer but its just comes up with the windows cant open the file error message. I know there is more that I need to do but I am really struggling to understand what to do. I just need some simple understandable instructions!!
 
It sounds like you need to install winrar, go to the winrar website and download it. You will probably want WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 3.91, download and install this.

This should allow to open the file you downloaded from Digiex.

Follow the numbers in the screenshot below

Now to open the game you will want to Click on computer, either on the desktop or in the start menu, click on your C:\ drive, then click on the hospital folder.

You can then load the game from the hospital icon as seen in the screenshot below.

Don't know why, the game run very slow...
my pc Pentium 4, vga 256 mb, memory 1Gb...

i got it to work, however it crashed randomy & i cant seem to get the cheats to work and i know im entering it correctly.
any suggestions?

ho un problema. ho eseguito tutto quello che spiegate nei post ma mi chiede sempre il cd rom!!!

L'estratto sul vostro PC in una posizione della vostra scelta, tuttavia se non estraete i dispositivi di piegatura alla radice di C:\ voi dovrà pubblicare la lima di config ed aggiornarlo con una nuova posizione. Per fare questo, entri in indice dell'ospedale e trovi: HOSPITAL.CFG Apralo con il blocchetto per appunti o un altro sistema di editazione testi (non PAROLA!)

INSTALL_PATH= C:\hospital\ (noti \ dopo il nome del dispositivo di piegatura) 
INSTALL_TYPE=MAX

I have the mouse-problem too. Mouse reacts so slow that i can't play!
Can anyone help, please?

And does anyone know if i can change the language into german? I tried "LANGUAGE=GER" and "LANGUAGE=german" - didn't work...
