Usbxtaf - Xbox 360 USB Storage Explorer (Xplorer) - UsbXtaf v45 Download

I was trying to clear up space on my 20gb hard drive to make room for a game and ended up copying EVERYTHING to the usb, but since the usb is 2gb I had to cut and paste the files to my pc. Now I'm left with everything on my pc with no way of getting it back to the xbox. Is it possible for me to use this program to put the files back?
 
USB Xtaf GUI saved my bacon! I had a ton of save games on a thumb drive that got corrupted. Using a recovery program, I was able to copy the xbox360 folder from that corrupted USB flash drive to my PCs hard drive.

Unfortunately, I was not simply able to copy the xbox360 data files from my PC to a newly XBOX formatted flash drive. It would not read it. That is where Xtaf saved the day. I was able to manually load the PC’s copy of my old xbox360 folder and then export all the saved game folders. Then I took the newly reformatted flash drive and could import all those games back in. It worked! I have all my games back.

Thank you so much to slasherking823 and anyone else who contributed to this application. I know there have been a lot of folks working on tools like this.
 
Hi. I have a Jtag xbox 360 and I was playing games on it offline using my pen drive as a memory card(I don't use it for anything else) when I get achievements all I do is turn it off and move the pen drive to my other unmoded xbox 360 connect to live and usually change the avatars cloths so it saves the achievements I just got on the xblive server. That was working fine until yesterday. I finished playing the campaign for Medal Of Honor..so I got a bunch of achievements. I then connected to live and suddenly my GP appeared as 0. I sign out of the profile and when I was trying to sign in again...pufff profile corrupted.

I then tried the method of extracting the profile from the pen drive using xtaf usb, then conflag remover...but when I try to open it on hash block calculator I get this message: "Error opening container, make sure your opening a valid content package" I have tried everything. I read the whole discussion from the creator of xtaf in this site...but nothing other than when extracting the file using xtaf is changing something on my profile. (I have done this with my profile before countless times using my xbox hdd with xplorer360). Can anyone shed some light!? I have game saves there since nov 2005 when I first bought my xbox 360...I'm about to cry...well figuratively speaking.

I think they ban accounts that have been on a JTAG , even if your on retail. if that makes sense.

Depending on how you booted up the JTAG and what you did on it. It will modify your profile which then would be able to be flagged by Microsoft.
 
so i used the tool to "backup raw drive" and now i have a bunch of files varying in size called "data000x" where x is a number between 0 and 8. i also noticed that all the files together add up to 7.39GB which is surely impossible considering the drive i copied from only holds 6.8GB.

anyway i now want to restore that raw data because i had a game saved on it, which i now cannot play because the disc is scratched on wont save to hard drive passed 24%

however i do not know how to restore the drive to that i had originally copied, the game is saved on the images i have, i just dont know hwo to restore them, if i inject the files 1 by 1 tehy arent read on the 360 as 360 files, they take up space, but i cant see the files in the memory tab.

help, cheers
 
there should be a folder that contains the data000 files,copy those to the flash drive to data partition>content>0000000000000000 (should be 16 zeros)

you might need to run as admin also

i see where ive gone wrong i used the "dump raw data" option rather than extracting the files from the "data" partition

i managed to get the game installed again on my hard drive, is there a way that i can inject multiple files into the correct partition cos at the moment it only lets me do it one by one and theres 30 files.
 
highlight multiple folders and drag them into usbxtaf

i think UAC needs to be disabled for this to work

UAC is disabled but its quicker to do it one by one, left it over night cos it was taking forever and it only got to data0012 after about 7 hours. if i do it one by one its like 30 seconds per file. also if i try and drag multiple files, as opposed to the folder, say for example i do data0001-0008 it will only copy 0008 to the drive rather than all of them.

maybe something to look at with the next release?
 
it doesen't work it gives me an error that says unhandled exception has occurred in your application if you click continue the application will ignore and attempt to continue if you click quit the application will crose immediately illegal characters in path what's with that?
