Hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb Sata harddrive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim

I'll be really happy if someone could help me. I got myself a WD3200BPVT, flashed it fine with HDDHACKR, grabbed partition 2 out of my 20GB Hitachi Xbox drive and dumped partition 3. Shutdown, connected new 320GB hard drive and find that it's now a Seagate ST3920325AS. Xplorer360 (both Extreme and 320) say there is no FATX drive attached. I know there was a guy earlier on in the thread that had a similar issue but I couldn't find what he did to fix it. If someone could guide me that would be appreciated!

Yes it does, it comes up as WD3200BEKT
Seems like it failed to flash the drive, normally the brand of the hdd will change if it works correctly. From the first page.
HDDHackr doesn't work for me:
99% of problems are caused by the SATA chipset on your motherboard or BIOS configurations such as Legacy IDE not been enabled, AHCI been enabled or Raid been active.

You will need to use xplorer360 320gb edition and run it as admin.

Thanks for the reply, finally got it working. Now the issue I'm having is not being able to load partition 3 onto my new drive, I can't drag and drop files into Xplorer 360 320gb and injecting the folders does nothing. Tips?

Format with the xbox 360 in settings>system>storage

I have now tried this on 3 PCs, 1 gives me the serial number error, one won't show USB as an option after entering HDDHACKR, just the laptop hard drive, and one hangs after I enter HDDHACKR, nothing comes up

I have changed all the settings in the bios as instructed, I don't know what to do at this point...

I'm not sure if this will change anything but instead of using dos, use free dos at the create usb bootable step.

Already tried that.
Install this and see if you can inject anything. https://www.cubby.com/pl/Horizon.Setup.v2.5.11.1.exe/_a22ad5366be7414983957596fcd62390

didn't change anything, still getting the serial number error, I think I will give up, this drive is clearly not flashable

Please clarify for me. I'm not limited to the sizes Microsoft offers?
I found a western digital 7200 rpm 720 gb Scorpio black. This hdd program will recognize the drive... but still will the xbox?

You will only be able to use 320gb, the rest of the drive won't be used. Keep the undo file so you can revert the drive back to normal and to use it with a pc.

Hello, im new here im form argentina and my english is a little rusty, yesterday buy a hitachi hdd sata 80g to exchange my 20g hdd from my xbox fat,but i can not make it work, after reading a lot of tutorials, i think im a little lost.
questions, can HDD hitachi be flashed for xbox? i donwloaded all the prgrams but nothing good came in, also i tried with two WD sata from others pc,80g and 120g (not 2,5) and gave serial number error.
This program only works with WD Scorpio?

Thanks

good, i need another program for the hitachi? only support 60/120g? the HDD of the xbox its seagate 20g.theres something i can do?

que jodaaa jajaja again ##$%$& im going to try that, im going to read it very carefully, but im thinking on selling that hitachi and buy a WD, only scorpo and the models that are in the read me of the hddhakr can be flashed?

Is there anyone who can tell me if there's any point in purchasing a 7200rpm drive?
I'm debating whether to purchase a WD3200BPVT or a WD3200BEKT drive (there is no point in searching other 320GB drives, right?). I can only buy them from eBay and the prices aren't that low.
So will there be any advantage in buying a faster drive? I find conflicting statements on this.

Thanks!
