Here is the system update for a 6717 dashboard. I would want it to be just a complete replica of it. With the same sounds, with the same icons, with the same everything.

If you cant do 6717, then you get can lower, I have no problem with it.

dash.xex uses various undocumented low-level functions, which are probably changed in latest kernel (no games use them, so it's fine). I was able to get Kinect Dashboard (that hybrid between NXE and Metro dash) working, but nothing older. Sorry i already tried it too. At least you have Freestyle Dash skin

Great to see you want to go back to the Blades!
The hardest part about going back even on a J-Tag/RGH console is your fuses get blown, creating a new value higher, but I heard "something about use a hacked NAND image and some other Advanced techniques like preserving your fuse data and stuff so you can successfully recover a older dash image", THAT is about the best I can explain I have not tried or went far into researching it.

your Next best option is too keep an eye on Ebay, I bought a Xbox for 40$ on the original Blades 6683 dashboard, and another the same price on the 7371 dashboard

a Little more expensive option if you want the full dashboard installed is to buy a Xbox 360 Development kit, the Phat model, cannot be a slim as they never ran a Blades dashboard. With a Development Kit they can be downgraded or upgraded as you please!

a couple other options but not as good is to take the update, decompile it with ?wxpirs? and use the tool Xbox360GameHack by Xorloser, and patch the files to run on your dashboard, that may not work still.

another last resort is you use this, it is based of a kiosk disc! its close to original but not, x360dashit

Thank you for your dedication and time for writing this, I will try to look for the Xbox with Blades. I am trying to not have a permanent Blades on my Freebooted Xbox, I just want to run Blades as an application, thats it. 1888 already exists, it is uploaded by InsaneNutter. I just want a 6717 version of that application.

Even the instructions i posted for 1888 only worked on Jtag consoles on dashboards older than 12611 from what I remember, are you saying that works on a Jtag with a recent dashboard update?

I haven't really tried yet with a newer dashboard, probably it works. Is getting a dash.xex 6717 version complicated, I don't really know, just asking.

On a Freebooted console it is 17511, I use the Freestyle dash. I really want to run dash.xex, version 6717. I am sure this is possible, and I think it will work. Just tell me what you need

As i said earlier, it will be very hard. I don't think anyone got it to work... Just get FSD3 skin
