It's seem doesn't work .jar or i'm doing something wrong.

Try java -Xmx1G -cp net.minecraft.LauncherFrame

Neptun: You need to patch all jars you use.

Hello I downloaded the launcher and it wont... well launch all it does is look like its going to do something but it doesn't it just stops :/ I'm running OS 10.5.8 on a G4 any suggestions

Is there any chance you could add a button to open up an error log window?

The other nice feature would be some folders you could set up that acted like the things in them where in the .minecraft folder. That way you could put the different settings files for different mods that go with different bins into them and select which one goes with which bin.

The Url is going to easyquizworld[DOT]com/d/1353/JESSENIC.TK?subid=

It triggers it when i login.

And just incase, i did download a new version again just incase it may have been infected but it still alerts the virus shield.

Yeah I had a free domain, jessenic.tk, but dot.tk cancelled it due to low usage so it points to some ad sites now. I need to remove it from the code

Ah ok, any idea when it'll be removed? Also look at co.cc if you want a free domain they give you nameserver control so your not just within an iframe

Just want to ask if theres a fix for a problem im having.
The lastjar.txt never updates or anything.
It can create the file correctly but then the file is never changed.
I switch between many versions of jar's but the lastjar.txt never changes. Which means I always log in to the last text.
In this case "mods.jar"

This used to work for me but no longer doesnt starting about a month ago.
Im running the latest version which you just uploaded xD

Also added Console logging to .minecraft folder and console can be viewed by pressing F12 before logging in.

It's a known bug but never really investigated it fully. What OS you are using? The error is because the file is locked when it checks the latest jar name. It *should* unlock it so it can be written, which does not seem to always happen. I will look into it soon.

That is not easy to do. You might want to try command line argument -workdir for the launcher if you want to. It changes the .minecraft directory to something else.

"Jar file is invalid" it says that all the time..
I have triede alot of defferent jars but it just dossent work...

I will look into the multiuser thing, though you can easily create multiple user accounts for your pc.

I do have indev jars, but they are not playable as they need some stuff from minecraft.net which is not available anymore.
