Since Win2011 was a Wi-fi event it was never released in a cartridge, therefore it will never be here.
But yeah, this one works in all english games, UK and US
 
Hey! So I want to try this out(I can't rn as I don't have a second DS), but I was wondering, is this region/language locked? if it is... would it by any chance work on a spanish copy?
 
Theirs various hacks of YSmenu that might work on random old R4 clones, you might have some success if you can get that working on your R4 and launch the distribution from there.

So Mr. InsaneNutter, if I use my 3DS in the same way as you described the DS - is the authentication going to go through?

Also please explain the setup process regarding Hyper GTS. I have never set this up. Am I going to need to purchase a server or is this program going to emulation everything? What is the step by step setup?

Hyper GTS no longer works as all DS Online functionality has been closed down by Nintendo,

That is a very old post from many years ago you have been reading.

You need to use a DS Flashcard and copy the distribution rom to that, you can then distribute the event to a second DS with your game in it.

If I understand correctly, I can use the US distribution ROMs on my German games as well, the wondercards will just be written in English? Thanks for replies

I can verify that this wont work. I tested it with the original U.S distribution card, if your game is not in english (or whatever wondercard language is stored on the ROM) then you simply wont find the distribution via Mystery Gift on your german game version.

If you want a complicated way to receive it in your German game and have a way to manage save files ie a flashcart and using this, you can possibly take your German save, load it into an English rom using virtual boy advanced, receive the event, and transfer the save back to your German cartridge. I know if you do this with English and Japanese it can mess up fonts, I don't believe it'll mess up anything for you if you attempt this but be sure to keep your original save as a backup if you decide to try this.

Edit: I messed up, I thought this was for a gba game. I decided to leave this here as it could be useful to someone else and a similar method might be possible with ds games and using 3ds homebrew, but I don't know hardly anything about that.

Edit 2: Found the ds equivalent so long as you have a 3ds, but I'm unsure if you're able to use foreign saves on the ds.

If you're open to using rom hacks of the distrobutions you can get around this, many of them allow you to obtain unlimited of a given event per save. The pokemon distributed should still be identical if done correctly. Its less than ideal but its a work around. A second work around which is a little iffy is messing with wifi recreations of events, to me these seem quite a bit sloppier but still could be doable with some patience. I'm not confident that wifi versions of these events are identical though.
 
Will the distribution work if I put the ROM on my modded 2DS and open it with TwiLightMenu++? (I do not have an R4 card nor do I plan to purchase one any time soon)

Yes, every distribution rom works with TWiLightMenu (obv you have to set the correct time range on the 2DS/3DS Settings app).
