Pokemon GEN 3 Mystery Gift Tool Download - Inject Nintendo Events, Wondercards & More

Hi, yes i have already done the elite four and in terms of the sevi islands im up to 3 island, i dont think you need to do all seven islands? I may be wrong, actually come to think of it i DONT have the national dex yet and i suppose it would make sense to get that seeming as lugia/ho-oh and deoxys are national dex pokemon.

However the mystery gift man still remains in the pokemon center even after collecting the ticket which i've read somewhere that the man needs to leave in order for the event to work. I'll update if it works or not after i get the national dex and report back soon.
 
Update: I have just got the national dex and still the event tickets do not work using both the mystery gift tool and gen event tool that is inside the zip file.

Turns out im not the only one whos having this issue as some guy on github on the mystery gift tool page has created a thread on this issue and nobody has replied to him so i know there will be a lot of people who need help with this.

If anyone has made this work could you please respond with the exact steps you did to make this work using the tools given on this thread.

P.S: I have even tried using Trigger's PC to get the event tickets for my FireRed and still doesnt trigger. There must be a way.
 
Here is the sav file im using which is just a normal FireRed Uk version backed up and exported using the GBA_backup tool i used on my R4 on DS.

The sav file ive linked is without using anything on it, so any of you guys can test for yourself.

Do you need to unlock the mystery gift in FireRed like you do in emerald? You need to give the guy at the Mart a specific passcode to unlock the mystery gift, before you can get any events.
 
UPDATE: I have tried this tool with other Firered/Leaf green sav files and it WORKS, the issue i had was i didn't complete the game in full including the sevii islands.

Requirements are for the events to work:

.Complete the game and finish all the sevvi island quests. (Island 7 is the last one).
.You will need National dex to move through these island quests. (For this you just have to have caught at least 60 different pokemon)
.Obviously need to beat Elite Four
.Obtain Mystery Gift (Go to the pokemart and there is a questionnaire on table, press A and enter these words in order
Link Together With All'

Then when all is done go to vermillion city, and towards the boat, the man should recognize the ticket.

That will be all, enjoy.
 
UPDATE: For those who have the Emerald Game, make sure to go to the Lilycove Port not the port in Slateport one as i got mixed up.

I have checked Pokemon Emerald and yes it also works, the tool works but make sure your game is complete. (Beat the Elite Four)

Also if your game is still not working your best bet is to use PKHEX and check the event flags section and make sure the Lugia/ho-oh and Deoxys and or Mew are not captured and they are hidden, so untick them if they are already ticked.

Also have a look at the Misc edits section and check the ferry section and make sure the event locations are unticked and for initial event to be unticked as well.

Finally make sure you dont already have the event items in the key item section through the use of action replay/gameshark, you can untick these anyway but if so, delete them off your item list using PKHEX.

Then finally you can inject the event items and they should all work.

That should be all.
 
In theory, can this tool also be used to inject wondercards that give event pokemon or event eggs? If not is there a different tool for those that lack a GBA flash cart(Other than rewriting entire saves)?

It's been discussed a few years ago that maybe one day there will be a tool equivalent of this to distribute actual event pokemon with the same legality methods as the actual distribution roms. Gen III wondercards can't distribute pokemon, so it would have to be a completely different tool. The problem at the time was we knew nothing about how those roms worked. These days, we know a very significant amount more, so I think such a tool or something similar may fruition at some point. I couldn't say when though.
 
Could wondercards distribute eggs? I could have sworn I’ve read posts on a different forum that said many gen 3 wonder cards relating to eggs were lost to time, and having to delete them to receive other wonder cards.
 
Yeah, I do remember something about wondercard Eggs on ProjectPokemon, I think there was a relation to Wonder News, but I may be wrong. I don't see anything about them in the documented Gen 3 events, so maybe it was something different like the NDS Download Play events. My memory on this in particular is really bad. I'll have to ask a friend who knows that stuff better than me to clarify, then I'll let you know.

By the way, sorry about the slow responses, I'm kinda taking time away from pokemon stuff at the moment. I'm usually on top of answering things lol...

I apologise if this is out of place, but I haven't used forums in a long time.

Can someone give me a simple bullet point list of what I need to do to "inject" wondercards into gen 3 Pokemon games?

I have all the games, ds lite, transfer cables, etc. I just don't know what GBA or NDS "flash carts" to buy. I don't need the most expensive carts, just whatever is most $ efficient. Also the software, whichever is the most convenient method.

Nope that's why i recommended it, its one of the few R4 clones that doesn't. I've had an older version for a couple of years now and had no issues.
 
This is amazing, just recently getting back into Gen 3 and 4 after years of not playing, first discovered the fan made DNS server for Gen 4 and now I've found this, amazing brilliant work! So chuffed! Is it possible to get the Old Sea Map event onto a EUR Emerald? The DS version obviously doesn't give the option, so I brought the save over to Windows, loaded it in, used the Override Region option to switch to Japanese and injected successfully, but when I transfer the save back over and launch the game, the blue guy isn't there :( Tested it with the Aurora ticket and he shows up so I'm thinking the events are strictly region locked within the game, can anyone confirm or have any advice? Thanks again!

Edit: Managed to get it to work, I think what fixed it was injecting and aquiring one of the other event items first (Aurora in my case), saving, transfering, overriding and then injecting OSM, so ignore me :) Thought I'd update incase anyone else has issues in the future

Ok I want to use the ez-flash omega in order to download as more of these rare tickets for the legendaries in LF/FR/E as I can.I learned that I need a file for the codes of the tickets so I have to create a file with them in it.When I get the codes I will transfer them to my actual games through mystery gift.Firstly,should I use gen3 event tool or mystery gift tool?I saw an answer at this conversation that is referred to four steps to do this process with gen3 event tool but I can't understand the first of them with the GBA Backup file.Should I download it necessarily?Because it wants payment as I saw.
