Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

dreys, if you have another pc, copy all the files from your pc to it and copy all the registries (not only the changed, but all) to that pc, edit the key and add another fake, then apply the registry and launch the game) if it works then you could share the files one way or another.

Hey, maybe im just going crazy... but what if the decrypt key for the encrypted files in hex.... is the Unlock Code sent from EA servers?

which is what i was trying to say, you might have taken it as if i said you r lying or something, but what i said is that you can reinstall on the same pc as much as u want, but u can max activate on 3 pcs, meaning what you tested i said would be the case since others said the same b4 more or less, but you have monitored the changes which they have not, so now im waiting to see how successful it will be for your to copy all the registries + game files into a pc that has not been activated b4.

I'm sorry, I for the most part was just in a bad mood. Little annoyed with my site getting hacked etc but hey!

well anybody can be in a bad mood sometimes, that aside, tried a fully copy of files and registry to a pc which never had ra3 installed on b4 ? i think u r the only one left who could test this since others that could b4 arent coming online anymore.

If you look at my log on (i edited out my site i'm not trying to advertise here, if you didn't see the log, pm me for it) you'll see that there aren't really any new files. The only additions are registry changes. We need to figure out how the game knows its being activated/installed on a new machine.

well lavarider said there were i think 2 or 3 files that were new but they werent modifictions, just 3 files of which one is an xml... anyway, if you could, take all registries for securom + ra3 and add them to a new pc + add all the files u have from ur activated pc.. lavarider said it worked and i want to confirm if u can do it

the problem is there were SEVERAL entries into the registry and I am not sure what they are for. If someone knows how to make a registry 'patch' let me know. i think this is something that anyone can do. Just go copy the registries that I posted and do it on your own computer. or at least prepare it and i'll do it. my time has been limited here at work :(

and admittedly, when i go home, i have a baby, plus i play WOW LOL.

I created a .reg file based on klipseracer's posted registry changes. These are the changes made by the activation only, not the install program. Double-clicking this (once it's un-rar'd) should import those changes into your registry.

Use with caution, create a registry backup beforehand etc, as this is untested and made by hand, and I don't write .reg files regularly.
----
Edit: I made a mistake and have since fixed and re-uploaded the file. If you couldn't get it to import, please try it again now.

just tested with the last registry file and the securom files from last page, it's still asking for an internet connection

You're using Drey's securom files and Klipseracer's registry settings (if you're using the .reg file I just posted). Maybe a better test would be both the files and settings from the same activation. Perhaps Klipseracer could post his securom files.

PS. Note that Klipseracer seems to have replaced his key with "XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX", which is how it looks in my posted .reg file (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Red Alert 3 Beta\ergc).

Those testing this may want to replace the X's with a key that's less obviously invalid.

Tell me which ones you want and i'll do that.

EDIT: edit, remember some of those registry changes only occured because the key i was using was used to many times. So i had to replace it with a new key that would activate on my fourth machine. So, technically, that wasn't even a change that was truly made.

i have been lurking this thread for a while now
i believe i have a fully working crack made from info gathered here
will test on a few more pcs and report in 20 min

If you could pack up this folder and upload it:

Documents and Settings\[UserName]\Application Data\SecuROM\UserData

The UserData folder is normally hidden, so you'll need to show all files etc. Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand... which change wasn't "truly made"?

Edit: Okay I see what you mean. I've removed the entry and re-uploaded the file (still at the same link on the previous page). Still waiting on your securom files.
