Sparkee I did already pass the security with fake EA auth server I'm really surprised no one really done it to confirm, is it really hard or u guys didn't read it ?
I have been able to run the game with connection down and same cd key

Ok an update
I was able to setup the ssl server
but when i open the link to proxy.novafusion.ea.com/drm/license...
It is asking for user auth (user and password)

Ok found the solution
When maennj wrote the part of editing the directory tags
leave it like this (Commented)

Now when you click on

It works - i get XML with unlock code written in checker.php.
But Ra3 still asks for CD

I'm trying this in a computer with clean install of xp
When i used a fake serial It crashed but when I used my valid one with the unlock_code
generated, it asks for CD

I passed the auth. server and it still asks for the cd.
I tried Yasu, paul.dll, etc.
I tried both legal and fake serial. But this is a success (for me..)

how about you guys turn your internet off and then try?
well since the game's "activated" try shut down your server and then a normal start for the game (try offline and online)...
maybe even change the hosts back to normal?

I don`t have legal key...
When I start the game without internet connection it asks to connect first.

For 64-bit Os users:
Total Commander can't find the host file.
But if you search for it in the Start menu or type this in windows explorer:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Whoala, you found it! Then you can edit.
I'm testing now the server, etc.

It seems that there's something else than the ea auth server
because we were able to redirect the auth to our ssl server with the same xml
structure that the ea auth server answers.
But I don't know if somebody is able to sniff what happens there
when the fake auth server is used.

It's really weird because I used to get this problem but that because I used valid key with fake unlock
But when I reinstalled with the valid key+correct unlock code associated with this key. it worked

Ok now here is a modification to the PHP file :

Those unlock codes may not work unless u install clean RA3 (recommended to uninstall the game + remove EA reg entries + delete RA3 folder + reinstall) with the key I used to generate those codes, if you want the key to make a test PM me.. I'll post the key here once I get iBBi permission

Finally! The game started and i unlocked the skirmish mode. So i tried all the factions.
It remembers me a little bit of the game Dune 2000 or something like that.
