Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

equazcion: Well I don't want to delete Electronic Arts, because I have Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath also. ;-) Well I just keep trying

So just delete the Red Alert 3 beta "folder" then:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Red Alert 3 Beta\

I think you just run the command "regedit", same as on XP, which brings up the registry editor. Then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Red Alert 3 Beta\

equazcion: Tried that, but uninstaller deletes tree with cd-key (e.g. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Red Alert 3 Beta). I deleted other Red Alert 3 entries (e.g. in HKEY_CURRENT_USER) but it didn't worked ;-(

still getting A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (5024).

What really pisses me off that I don't have those UserData directories (hidden files on, I'm not stupid) and even that SecuROM registry entry. Kind of weird. Anybody has solution? Thanks!

I was getting the security module error too. You need to uninstall any CD/DVD emulator software you have, like Daemon Tools, MagicDisk, or PowerISO. After they were gone it worked fine for me.

Also be sure to reboot after uninstalling those.

equazcion: I'll try that, but I'm using Daemon Tools often. I would have to stick with extracting ISO images from Total Commander

When final comes out I'll install it back.

if you key doesn't work, as i've said numerous times(LOL) just use a restore point. System restore has to be activated. Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System restore. When red alert 3 installs, it creates a restore point.

^ Good tip, if you have a restore point from before you started messing around with this, that should do it.

I was able to play a full game all the way through, didn't notice any bugs at all actually. I mean, I lost horribly, but I was able to play

Screw that motherfucking beta. It isn't even whole game. I don't like multiplayer, cuz I like much more campaign IN EVERY GAME (except like CS). Make yourself on that pissing beta. it is limited anyway

Hmmm.... I also uninstalled Avira AntiVir, but I didn't think that's what made it work. If you have that you could try uninstalling it too, if you're still interested in getting the game working.

equazcion: I don't use any anti-virus software (cuz I don't need one), so that was bad point. Still I don't have any those UserData files there, after I've reinstalled game 10 times min and even registry entries aren't there. I think it hasn't activated. How can I activate it manually?

edit: I won't stop using my favourite software because of some shitty ass software copy protection. It should go fuck somebody somewhere else. Not me…
