Xbox 360 Partition 2 Download (Xbox 1 Emulator)

Went today to BestBuy and got the Halo 2 game and when I tried to run it on my 4GB Xbox with a hacked 320gb drive got an error, a quick google search and here I am.

Did the patch for the partition 2 and now it work perfectly, now I need to do the same with my two nephews Xbox's.

I installed to my and one of my nephews a blue WD 320gb and to my small nephew a old WD 80gb drive with the 60gb firmware.

I am experiencing the same trouble playing xbox original game on a xbox 360 arcade version with a 250 hdd original/official xbox

I was searching the net and got to this site - so first of all i many thanks to the of for this thread

I am wondering if i could use the file attached to this thread on my original hdd. I would also like to find out, if by updating the 2 partition on my original hdd

i could damage the console since it has a lt 2.0 jailbreak

third and last question based on what i read in this forum is do i need both apps to update the console (hdd and xplorer) or could the explorer do the trick

The first file(Partition2.rar) is for partition 2 so you can play xbox games the second file is the program that can copy partition2 to your hard drive.This process will not damage your console.If you do not use xbox live,use this guide to update partition2 https://digiex.net/downloads/downlo...rds-compatability-update-november-2007-a.html

Is there a chance this would damage the jailbreak lt 2.0 ? (The console plays original and non original games)

I noticed that the update file is smaller than the partition 2 mention here for the hdd, so what is the difference between the two option ?

LT+ 2.0 is on the dvd drive,your only adding partition 2 to the hard drive.The update file updates partition 2 to play more xbox games.

I have used nero to put the file on a cd

I have tried to run the cd , The Xbox console recognise the cd and a green screen says "apply update - your console has been updated to support a veriety of original xbox games for more info, go to xbox/games etcIn the bottom of the screen there is a number 2.0.5829.0 and it offers me to continue or to cancel

I chose continue but it brings me back to the main screen with the avatar

what am i doing wrong , and why is nt it working ?

Unofortunely i still can`t

after i tried to update the xbox with the file that was burnt to the cd, i tried to play gta 3/vice city
original xbox games and it still brings the same message aftre inserting the cd and trying to play it, a brings the same message "The game could not start. Please download the game again".

I have no idea about partition 2 , the file you gave is default.xex 12mb , the xbox doesnt seem to let me update it , it asks me if i want to continue or to cancel , i press contiunte but apparently it doesnt install it , since it brings me to the first screen of the xbox without showing and signs of updating etc

if you enlighten me i would me more than thankful

I also noticed that this file is 12mb but the one hofman brought here seems to weigh around 256 mb

Do this first,follow the tutorial on page 1 and copy partition 2.
Second,use the disc you burned earlier to update.
 
For the benefit of us xbox 360 newbis - could you tell me please how to transfer files to the cd from the pc. I have read the tutorial.
Took out my official hdd from the xbox (its an internal hdd) and noticed that it doesnt have any usb port on it, so how can i update it if i cant connect a flashdisk to the xbox itself in order to pass the files, and trying to run the update from a burnt cd doesnt allow updating either ?

I searched ebay for the cable and noticed that there are many options
is there a preferbale option , and is there a difference between an official cable and a non official one

The official one can be used to transfer content using the hard drive without any formatting,the generic ones only allow the hard drive to come up as a usb device that needs to be formatted.
 
Rick, please let me know if i got you right this time

First i buy the xbox 360 slime console new usb hard drive data tranfer

second, i download to my pc this program Xplorer 360 Extreme 2

Third , i take out the hdd from the console attach it to the cable and attach the cable to the laptop

step four would be to download the partition using the program from the laptop to the hdd.

step five would be to put the hdd in the console and hope that the console would recognize the new files

please let me know if i understood correctly
