No it doesn't exist basically, like not there. I'm re-injecting the files...who knows maybe that will work. Also I've tried injecting the other folders within the original partition 3 like:
    mindex

But it doesn't show either. I'm sure its in there but something didn't happen right.

use this XboxMB - Xbox Message Boards - Horizon it automatically knows where to place everything and works with all hard drives & usb devices.you should be able to drag/copy the content folder to the hard drive with this program

    Ok so I tried this:

I went to my parition 3, right clicked and selected add folder. Then I created a folder named mindex. Then I right clicked on my partition 3 and clicked insert folder, selected the mindex folder on my PC and injected.

Lo and behold, there it is two mindex, the second mindex buried within the top level mindex. Since I had injected mindex folder earlier with the result being no trace of it in sight, it appeared now. I'm thinking that these files are in partition 3, but not necessarily injected properly and therefore xplorer360 or my 360 for that matter can't find if they wanted to. I'm trying this with my Content folder. Hopefully it works and I will see two Content folders, one embedded in the other. I'll have to delete the second one of course.

    Wish me luck.

EDIT: Sure rick550, I posted this prior to reading your message. I'll give it a shot.

sounds like a mess, format the drive using the xbox 360 and it will clear your partition 3 only

I have a WD 320GB Scorpio blue and hddhackr doesn't recognize it. Says No ATA avaliable. I've tried change SATA operation to SATA and AHCI. Tried disabling it also and same thing. I got a Intel atom 330 with nvida ion.

    Didn't see any legacy option.

My method didn't work the way I'd like it to have, I got the Contents folder successfully injected but I couldn't find the rogue Content folder that was lost in the abyss that is my 250 gb hard drive. Consequently as I expected, the rogue Content folder inhabited 3 gbs of space in the hard drive. The Horizon software seems pretty nice, but I don't know how to use it to inject an extracted folder from xplorer 360. Is there a way to do such a thing?

This happened to me. I found that thinkering with the BIOS helped. I have an Asus P8Z 68M Pro mother board and this was the successful settings I used that got hddhackr to work:
In Advanced mode for Sata COnfiguration, set the following:
    Sata Mode: IDE
    S-Ata Controller 0: Compatible
    S-Ata Controller 1: Enhanced
    SMART: Enabled
Make sure connected drives can be seen
The WD 250 GB is connected to SATA6G_1. <-Specific to my BIOS setting/cable hook up.

Note that this is the UEFI BIOS program, not the older style ones and its specific to my ASUS. I suggest seeing if there is something that is similar in your BIOS setting that you can configure that would match my settings, after all I think your MB is capable of getting hddhackr to work, but you will have to figure out what settings will work.

Format the drive in the console first to clear out the 3gb.Horizon only works with files unfortunately. The content folder needs to be in the root of partition 3 for this to work [IMG]
this may help you also from the faq

Done deal. I got everything in the hacked drive, xbox emulator and content and all whoo hoo.

Thanks rick550, but my method works. If you right click and add new folder, make that folder the name of the folder you'd like to inject then it will work.

Could you please help us with an issues we are having?
Thanks to your wonderful tutorial we were able to get our new 360 slim hacked with a 250gb HDD.
Our issue is this we couldn’t get an original xbox game Star Wars Battlefront2 to work. Then we followed your instructions on partition 2 hack and now the game will play. However our saved games and DLC for this game are missing! They did not transfer over onto the new HDD. Will copying partition the 3 be able to fix it and get our saves and DLC?
If so what will it corrupt what is already on partition 3 and which version of the explorer should I use.

    Hi,
Thanks for the tutorial. I am using hddhackr 1.30 to flash WD320BEKT. I managed to download the HDDSS320.zip and extract it to USB drive (as HDDSS.BIN).

Encounter this warning when following the 'F' command:
LBA Size seems to be unsupported XBOX360 value.

    New LBA Size: 625142448

After flashing, hddhackr did not prompt to create the partition. Please let me know how to rectify. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply on the partition creation.
I do not have my Xbox 360 with me now. I just want to confirm that the warning: 'LBA Size seems to be unsupported XBOX360 value', is ok before I proceed with partion 2 task. Sorry, if I ask this question again.

I am not able to test flashed drive with Xbox now, probably in 1-2 days time. Would like to know if the flashing is properly done.

I just picked up a WD3200BEKT and went through the same process with v1.30 of hddhackr. I got the same warning message, but when I connected it to my xbox and started it up, it detected the new hard drive fine and prompted for a system update to support Kinect. The update downloaded and installed fine, then went through the Kinect calibration. The calibration data was saved to the hard drive and everything looks to be fine. I haven't tried copying over my data from my old hard drive yet, but everything else seems to be operating fine.

troubles with xplorer/other os recognizing hacked hard drive

First of all thanks for the tutorial! I completed the tutorial but with one problem. Xplorer/Windows does not recognize my hacked hard drive in order to copy partition 2. Everything else works except for this. Installation was a success and the xbox recognizes the new hard drive when I install it but of course I cannot play xbox 1 games. The hardware I am using is an WD3200BEKT hd. For trouble shooting I have used ACER and Toshiba computers. I have attempted using three different operating systems, Windows 7 (uac off), hirens boot disk live cd (mini xp), and knoppix linux live cd. AHCI was off in all circumstances. In all permutations the computers do not recognize the hacked drive though hddhackr recognizes it as I have replicated that part of the tutorial multiple times. I am confused as to why my computer does not recognize the hacked drive apart from the bios and hddhackr. If you need more information to help me or part of my problem is unclear please let me know. Thank you in advance.
