For partition 2,xbox emulator, you have to use xplorer 360.To transfer data like gamesaves, dlc, ect you have use the microsoft transfer cable or a usb drive,

    Generic cable warning.(not recommended)
If you try to connect a generic transfer cable, the xbox will recognize it as a usb device that you will need to format(you will lose everything on the hard drive).

Thanks rick550 - all my data in sectors 16-22 is zero , does that make sense?
Drive is the 1TB WD that had been in a PS3.

    Flash worked anyhow.

This DOES work with a 1TB Scorpio Blue drive WD10JPVT .

    Just did it :)

Note 1.30 did not ask about creating partitions,
once it was done I just put the drive in the 360
formatted it and it was fine.

Saved me buying a smaller drive since I had the other unused.

How long should the restoration of partition 2 take, it's been going on for a while now.

Hmm still can't get it to work. I'm using the 320gb hdd, does that mean that I should use the 320 gb verson of the restore program? It's not that clear to me in the description. Is there anythingelse I should do in order to fix this issue?

The 320gb version is for transferring data only in partition 3.If you downloaded parition 2 try downloading it again then extracting it again.
    Here are the directions.

Nope, no progress whatsoever. I'm a bit suspicious about Windows 7 having some kind of compatibility issue, maybe it would work better with windows xp? I think I also might have access to one of those transfer cables from a good friend of mine, I could then connect my 320 gb with my 20 gb hdd. Would that work?

Thank you for all the help you've given me so far!

Windows 7 works good with xplorer 360 you can connect a generic or microsoft transfer cable to the computer and that works also.Or a usb to sata cable.

Any ideas why the restore hasn't worked? The HDD is doing fine otherwise, so I find it rather strange then. I let it stay on for almost an hour, yet nothing seemed to happen. The progress bar just kept looping.

    Need help!

I have a WD3200BEKT that I was able to successfully flash and initially it recognized fine in my XBOX360 (old Phat model). I formatted the hard drive after entering my console SN. I than removed the HD to put in my PC and wanted to restore some of my savedata from the old 20GB HD, but something locked up so I canceled everything and now the HD won't recognize in my Xbox. It keeps telling me "No Storage Devices Found". I tried reflashing and undoing but I still get nothing. The HD works fine on my laptop, I just can't get the XBOX to see it now. What should I do?

It shows as WDC WD32 00BEKT-22F3T0. I'm using Active Killdisk for windows to wipe (zero) the hard drive, see if that works. I'm thinking that Partiont 1 is somehow corrupt and the XBOX won't recognize the drive.

You could of just formatted it when its showing as wd
    flash the drive with hddhackr
transfer partition 2 with xplorer 360 extreme
    format in xbox 360
copy game saves using the xplorer 360 320gb version

Formating the drive on the laptop didn't work. It still shows both XBOX partitions when I look under Xplorer360.

click on start type in disk management click on the create partitions.....
find your wd 3200 drive and delete any partitions and recreate a new ntfs partition (this is risky so don't choose your main computer hard drive)
then run hddhackr and so on

I did that, but it still didn't work. Like I said, Formating and even Deleting the Partition and making a new one still holds the old XBOX Partitions. I think "Zeroing the HD" is the only way.
