I have a Tomee cable, so no, it’s not official.
Could it be because the contacts are dirty?
That's also possible.
You could try the Nintendo DS version of this homebrew app or use the Windows version if you have a way to backup your save.

I’m trying to use the link cable dumper, but unfortunately it requires a GameCube ControllerThat's also possible.

I will try with nintendont and a Pokémon box ISO to see if the cable is the problemI’m trying to use the link cable dumper, but unfortunately it requires a GameCube Controller
But I'm curious, is there a way to use the GBA Link to get Distributions Carts to work similarly?* (Aura Mew, 10th ANNIV, etc)
I think he is asking if you can use this tool to get event pokemon not just event items. I am curious about this too. Moreso for the DS version but if it works for either I'd love to know.
Copy/paste from the other thread:
It's been discussed a few years ago that maybe one day there will be a tool equivalent of this to distribute actual event pokemon with the same legality methods as the actual distribution roms. Gen III wondercards can't distribute pokemon, so it would have to be a completely different tool. The problem at the time was we knew nothing about how those roms worked. These days, we know a very significant amount more, so I think such a tool or something similar may fruition at some point. I couldn't say when though.
Hey so this is probably a long shot, but I was looking to insert the Old Sea Map into my US copy of Emerald. I know this software is just for the legitimate events, but people have gotten that mystery event to work on US copies. I'm wondering if there's a way we could use this software to put the event into Emerald, even if it's not legal. I'd be willing to find the illegal event and put it in the software myself but I don't know how to do that. If anyone has any pointers or knows alternative methods of doing this using my Wii I'd appreciate it
This thread hasn't been active in a good while but I'm hoping someone see's this
I've managed to get the distribution to work on the Wii. it says distribution complete, but when I load up my save file nothing has changed. IDK if I need to do something to get the tickets. I checked the poke mart for the man in the green outfit who appears in diamond and pearl but alas there was no one. My game wouldn't even let me look at the wondercards as it says I needed a wireless adaptor and the tickets haven't appeared in my bag. Am I doing something wrong?
OMG thank you so much!!!!! Didn't realise the delivery guy was upstairs. Also didn't realise I didn't click the reply button. and the face palm emoji just turned into a male symbol for some reasonIf everything worked correctly, you have to talk with the green postman in Pokémon Center 2nd floor in order to receive the gift
