NDS Mystery Gift Tool - Inject Pokemon GEN 3 Wondercards and Events

Just wondering but how and why are their credits to Nintendo Italy and Spain? I've heard about people sending their carts to Nintendo to inject events and Mystery Gifts into them but I'm not sure how that's possible lol.

People who lived in Italy posted a game cartridge to Nintendo Italy, the event was distributed, then the cartridge posted back.

I'm not 100% sure Nintendo are still doing this in 2021 anymore, however the important data has been preserved so we can replicate the event distribution regardless.

Just downloaded the latest version, I have spanish version of the games, but on the app I only have 2 options, aurora and misty usa, so no option to inject the spoofed Old Sea Map (I'm on latest version). Is there an option to bypass region or something like on the PC tool?

This tool only injects legit wonder cards, it does not contain any hacked ones. As the Old Sea Map was never released outside of Japan that's why you have no option to inject this to your Spanish game. You might be able to do what you want on the PC version of the tool.

im having europian cartridges with dead batteries. are these tickets shiny locked?

yes i know the RNG sucks lol

You can shiny hunt these, however id suggest reading in to how a dead battery affects things as it depends on the game.

You can only get Mew legitimately on a Japanese Pokémon Emerald, you'd have to save game edit or use gameshark codes for other regions of the game. Keep in mind the event was never officially released in these regions however.

As @InsaneNutter said, Faraway Island Mew is legit only in Japanese Pokémon Emerald. But if you want, there are some ways you can inject Old Sea Map also in non-Japanese Emerald.

[Recommended] Using Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) 0.1f

• Make a backup of your SAV file and import it in your PC (if you don't have some specifical hardware like GBxCart, I suggest using GBA Backup Tool).
• Download Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) 0.1f from here.
• Unzip both the software and the Events folder and open WC3Tool.exe
• Click on Load Save File and choose your dumped SAV
• MAKE SURE that game and language are correctly detected
  • If not, click on Override Region and select the correct ones

• Click on Inject WC3
• Go to ...\Events\Custom Events (ILLEGAL) and choose OldSeaMap_E_custom.wc3
• Save your modified SAV file (DON'T FORGET the extension .sav)
• Reinject the new SAV in your cartridge
• Talk with the postman in a Pokémon Center to redeem the Old See Map.

Using PKHeX

• Make a backup of your SAV file and import it in your PC (if you don't have some specifical hardware like GBxCart, I suggest using GBA Backup Tool).
  
• Download latest version of PKHeX from here
• Unzip and open the software, then drag and drop your dumped SAV
• Go to SAV tab and click on Items

• Go to KeyItems tab, find the first empty space and add Old See Map. Then modify Count to 1 and click on Save.

• Now click on Event Flags and flag the following (DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE), than click on Save:
  • Received Old Sea Map from Mystery Gift
  • Can Travel to Faraway Island

• Click on File > Export SAV > Export Main and save your modified SAV (DON'T FORGET the extension .sav)
• Reinject the new SAV in your cartridge
• Old Sea Map is already in your Bag

Mine is a Spanish cartridge, and I have already collected all the pokemon from three of the four events. Strangely, the Eon ticket does not appear on the list, when it should be. Because in Pokémon Emerald Eon Ticket can't be obtained as Mystery Gift or Mystery Event, so it doesn't exist any official injectable Wonder Card.

The only official way to obtain it is by record mixing with a Ruby/Sapphire player that has received the Ticket from event.

So you have two choices: use official way or force Eon Ticket injection via Mystery Gift Tool or PKHeX.

I personally suggest the first one.

If you have a GBA FlashCart, 2 GBA and a link cable you can use real hardware. Simply download a ROM of Ruby or Sapphire and use it with attached SAV file (it must be 1P on link cable) to mix records with your original cartridge (in 2P).
If you don't have real hardwares, you can dump your save file from your cartridge and use an emulator like NO$GBA or VBA.

The file I attached is simply a dumped save file from Pokémon Sapphire, already with Eon Ticket ready to share via record mixing (it's zipped because I couldn't attach directly a .sav file). You can use it with a Sapphire or Ruby ROM with a GBA Flashcart or emulator (connected with your Pokémon Emerald).

If your friend has Pokémon Ruby and if you have available two GBA / GBA SP and a link cable, I think the best (and more legit) solution for you is to inject Eon Ticket in Ruby with the tool you already used and then use record mixing to share the Ticket with your copy of Emerald. You can follow this steps:

• In Pokémon Ruby
  • Talk to the NPC near the PC in the Petalburg City Pokémon Center and enter the right phrase for your language (this will unlock Mystery Event):

• • Save the game
  • Insert the cartridge in your Nintendo DS and use NDS Mistery Gift Tool, you already used for Emerald, to inject Eon Ticket Mystery Event data in Ruby
  • Insert the cartridge in your GBA and start the game
  • Talk with Norman in Petalburg City Gym in order to redeem Eon Ticket
  • Connect the GBA with 1P side of link cable
• In Pokémon Emerald
  • Insert the cartridge in your second GBA and start the game
  • Connect the GBA with 2P side of link cable
• In both
  • Go to the first floor of Pokémon Center and mix your records.

Now you should have received Eon Ticket also in Pokémon Emerald.

The English wondercards will work with any English copy of the game, it doesn't matter if it's from the US or UK.

Only left is UK

Yes, ENG WonderCards should work both with UK and US games.
Gen III only has a JPN/non-JPN limitation and sometimes language limitation (for example: DOEL Deoxys distribution only works with ENG games).

I have a question regarding my Italian version of Emerald: I have currently injected my Aurora Ticket event, and everything seemed to go normal. I have not beaten the League yet, so until then I can not catch Deoxis.

In any case, I noticed that together with the Aurora ticket event, I also had the option to inject the Mystic ticket, even though it should be only localized for US/UK versions! I did not choose the option, but noticed the word "(USA)" next to that option.
Should I be able to also generate the Mystic ticket event in an Italian Emerald version, or is there a problem with my flashcard?

In the case it is possible, does it get recognized from the game as the same as linking and receiving the ticket from someone who attended the US event? I wanted to clarify this since I would like to have only "legit" pokémon on my game, and I would not want PkHex to show that Lugia/Ho-Oh obtained in an Italian Emerald version are not legit.

I think this might be related to the JPN/non-JPN regional difference that is mentioned in the previous message, but I just wanted to make sure that everything would be legit, and how it is recognized from the game.

For other people asking, US Mystic Ticket event is legit also in european games because the original distribution worked with every non-jpn game. You can use this tool to receive the american Mystic Ticket, so Lugia and Ho-oh will be legit in PKHeX, Pokémon Bank and Pokémon HOME.
