Pokemon Aura Mew Distribution Cartridge Cartridge GBA Download [ENG, FRE, GER, ITA, SPA]

Hi!

I've read through all of these posts and I cannot find a solution to my issue...

When attempting to send Mew to my copy of LG or FR, the slave gba just hangs on the multiboot stage, nothing ever sends. The 10ANNIV works just fine on those carts, but I'm getting nothing with this one.

Details:
USA carts (official)
Official link cable (also have official wireless linkers), tried both
sending files from a Everdrive GBA X5 to official cart

Do these only work on European releases? I am under them impression this would work on all english language carts

At first I thought the issue was using wired link cable rather than wireless, since if I remember correctly some distributions require a wireless cable. Although this doesn’t appear to be the issue as a video shows it working with a wired cable I thought it would atill be helpful to post to eliminate it as a possibilty as others try to help you. I hope a solution is found soon.

edit: Just to confirm you are attempting to use the English version right rather than a language variant?

Yes I am using a English language cart (an official USA release) of both FR and LG.

The cable works as I use it to trade constantly...

It just dawned on me, I'm using my gbc cable and not my gba cable... now I feel like a complete ignorant fool.

My mind says gen1 game gbc cable, even though this is a gen1 remake in gen3... my goodness old age is getting to me.

My apologies for the post, it was completely unnecessary!

Glad to hear you were able to solve your problem.

One troubleshooting method I want to leave here for future reference is that a link cable need to be plugged into the proper GBA. What I mean by this is that the distribution GBA must be Player 1, and the receiving is Player 2. Some link cables have P1 and P2 printed on the plug, but some don't. I think the official ones did. If the cable is not plugged into the proper ports, you will get the same problem with the receiver sitting on the bios screen infinitely waiting to receive the multiboot. It's the same case with emulation if the distribution rom is not loaded in Window 1.

I once found that every gen 3 mew event sent to gen 4 game will be from Hoenn region not from Kanto region, whatever language gba card.Because every mew event the hidden data says it is distributed to ruby.It is so disappointing. But i am not sure.Is it true?Does legal GEN 3 Kanto MEW exist?Thank you.

I think Mystery Mew would appear like if it was from Kanto

I am not sure. The event pokemon region is not refered to the game you distributed. It means emerlad or leafgreen will show9 the same region in Gen 4 game. And it will never change again.I will be thankful if you try the legal mystery mew into gen 4 game and tell me the truth. It is so strange that the GEN 3 Deoxys could only show Kanto region in japan and USA.However, the gen 3 mew is the opposite.

The English Aura Mew Distribution has been re-uploaded.

The filler garbage data that pads out the distribution to a perfect 4MB had been previously randomized in attempt to hide an alleged "fingerprint" that Nintendo could have possibly used to trace the source of this distribution. This "fingerprinting" has never been proven fact, so we decided it was in the best interests of proper preservation that the garbage data is reverted back to proper FFs as they originally were. This does not affect the Pokemon distributed what so ever, and will make no difference to anyone distributing Pokemon regardless. It's purely about having a totally clean copy of this distribution preserved.

This re upload reset the download count, however at the time of this post the download count was 4,331.

I honestly don't have the means to do that, I was just theorizing

That's just how these Gen III distribution devices are built, no matter which game you distribute to, the origin game is auto set to Ruby upon the generation process.

@fabio00 Since the Mystery Mew savefile was pre-loaded with Mews with a distribution software itself, they are all origin "Ruby" as well.

Not legit nor indistinguishable from a legit mew but I think you can use the pomeg glitch to obtain mew could be transferable to bank that will be set to kanto. I'm not positive though.

Are you sure it got replaced because I think it has the same checksums as the old rom

The old rom got added to no intros datomatic back in 2017 and it has the same checksums as the supposed replaced rom which I downloaded today

The US / European English carts are the same, so the distribution will work with either.
