Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

So i figured i'd save everyone some time.

Basicly. All the CD-KEYS are physically entered / generated on ea's server in a mysql database, these keys are the same keys that are given out via fileplanet. There is more than likely no way you will ever get a legit key, generated.

What exactly are you trying to crack? The key can be changed in regedit, by simply searching for it. It's under;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/BCD00000000/SOFTWARE/Electronic Arts/EA Games/Red Alert 3 Beta/ergc

the default key will have the key listed under Data without the -'s in between.

If you install the beta with any of these keys;

8TDM-XTXA-9FYJ-3XTE-FH9R
JQBB-WLUX-H6V4-ZPRK-QVV2
PXGQ-3HQ4-6YLY-2LSN-CT82
WUU4-DTZ6-5VS8-2WCV-D9XB
F6XP-SVQK-E9LE-92D8-HPK8
GAPP-9SHC-ALTK-TQVV-DYGR

It works fine, however you will never get on EA Servers, ever in your life. so theres no point in wasting your time trying.

Crack the main menu with;
RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

then open up a lan game and play via lan or install a virtual lan, something like LogMeIn Hamachi works fine, its free, and supports 16 people, the premium one works for 30 days, and supports 64 people, that allows for a pretty decent ammont of people. I doubt you will get more than that on anyway.

If you get cdkey in use or cdkey conflict, while in the lan session or over the internet via hamachi. then its real easy, just go change a character in the registry under the location above. And it works fine, no more conflict.

You will never be able to clone an ea server or get on with anything besides a legitmate key, so don't even try. stop wasting your time people, the answers already above, and it works great, theres nothing further u can really do.

Goodluck.
I don't think those keys work. When you run the game it makes a request to ea servers to get a DRM key that unlocks the game which allows it to be played(I think). Without the DRM unlocking the game won't run so you can't run a lan game. I think people are still trying to get the game to run.

... Have none of you been listening for the past... 5 PAGES of posts? psychophat and Lavarider are far closer than "shooting in the dark". Yes, the paul.dll is a bust. psychophat confirmed that no more than two pages ago. Duplicating the EA servers is out.

We cannot get the game to get past the first chechmark, for those who haven't been listening, and that's what we are trying to fix. Thank you for updating the crack for the menu, gizm0, but it's a moot point at this time. The files in the main RA3 directory are NOT what we are looking at currently, because psychophat already mapped what goes on during registration, as well as Lavarider (who actually has a registered copy), and they know that screwing with the main files won't get us very far.

As of right now, our best bet appears to be Lavariders lending psychophat his registry files (no, you guys will not be allowed to download it, because of the liability risk), and using them to try and find what deactivates the first checkpoint. From there, we WILL need the cracked menu to allow us to play skirmish and LAN play without going online.

So, current status: Waiting for Lava to supply psycho with the registry files so that psycho can attempt to find where the first benchmark is disabled and how to replicate it on YOUR computers, then adding in the menu will be a cakewalk by comparison. Tada. No more questions? Because we've reached a point where basic hacking and cracking won't do it anymore.

Oh, and duplicating the EA servers is out of the question. The necessary command functions are practically limitless, and hacking in will be one of the most difficult tasks ever.

Edit: oh, I believe psychophat was working on emulating the paul.dll's responses, but he's hit a snag with that, too. Our best bet, currently, is Lava.

Ok, Fandom, I sent you a copy of the reg keys....Good luck, but if you get me blacklisted...I'll hunt you down and feed to to my pet cannibal! ;)

I just need Psychophat's email and we can finish this...

If I get you blacklisted, I will PAY you 60 bucks. Sign the check and all, I swear, so that you can get the Premier Edition free.

Cool! Eh, I trust other computer hackers (to an extent :P) I don't think you'll abuse the keys, thats why I sent them to you. Try a few things for me on at least one of your PCs. First, make sure that copying thse to your registry after a fresh install makes the game work for you. IF IT DOES, take another fresh PC that has never ahd the game on it before, install the game, and apply reg keys one at a time, starting the game in between each, until the game starts. Then, we will know what keys are actually required. If you are feeling truly ambitious, take another pc and apply only the key that let you through, to see if that is the "Holy Grail" or if it is a combination of factors.

EDIT: I know have Psychopat's email....I have sent him the keys...Now lets crack this baby!

@FandomofHell
Don't use the key on a system with network access, have it isolated. And also clear out all the Sekyu traces first and after your test because it stores the key.

STEPS TO CLEARING THE SYSTEM FROM SEKYU:
- Backup the SecuROM folder under X:\Documents and Settings\%your username%\Application Data there are 4 files inside this folder.
- Then clear the attributes -h -a -r then delete the folder SecuROM
- Fire up your 'regedit' remove all instances of SecuROM
- Make the SecuROM folder and all entries are gone from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and HKEY_USERS\%your SID%\SOFTWARE
- Unregister and delete cmdlineext.dll located at your X:\Windows\System32
- Continue with the test.

Just refresh I don't like double posting..

RA3 is installing on the disconnected test computer. We'll see if the copied registry works in about 30 minutes.

Edit: Of course I need to have it isolated. But good thinking on the f*ckyouROM. I was planning on wiping all traces of everything related to RA3 and the key before I reconnected it to the internet, but that was not at the top of my list "to kill". Now it is, though. ;)

Edit: Woah! I'm not gone, trust me. I'm not leaving at this crucial juncture. I may be occupied for short periods of time with the beta, but I'm not leaving for a second. I've got my test computer adjacent to my main computer, so I can switch between the board and the work at any second. Besides, knowing you, you'll probably hit pay dirt before me. ;)

Edit: Yah, if you could give me the complete steps to removing that stupid f*ckyouROM, that'll help. I haven't messed with it as much as you sound like you have, so that would be a BIG help.

Edit: I haven't even typed in a serial for the installation yet. Don't worry. I was waiting for you to finish the list first. I'm here to help, not screw up everything. ;)

But where are the other crackers? (deviance, FLT...) Why they aren't crack the game?
They know how can disable the cd-check, so for him it is easy to make a crack.

They usually are out to crack mainstream games and/or games that have a cd to crack in the first place. This is a registry crack, deviance and FLT dont do those.

@FandomofHell
If it requires file updates or anything of the sort don't try to acquire the files, log the filenames, paths and we'll get it from Lavarider.

@Szaby59
The cracking lords don't do BETA only full version releases.

We need to rebuild it from scratch manually. So I can create an installer when were done.

EDIT:
Let me update some stuff in the post, but do post the steps you've done so far and also download the two updates so you can transfer them later to the test system. You can try the key after the install if it goes fantastic, if not it requires online verification that we should not do we will get the payloads from Lavarider and after we get all the ground preparations first. Please don't hurry we will get there.

Just refresh I don't like double posting

Understood. I'll keep my eyes open. BTW, if you have anything else to add on stuff that I should delete/create, PLEASE don't hesitate to update. Everything that I can use would be great.

Update: Have installed RA3 beta on test comp. Have used fake GAPP serial to get past initial installation request. Should I delete the SecuROM stuff now, or after I've opened the registry keys and updated them?

OK. Current steps I've taken:
Downloaded Lava's files directly on to flash drive, did not open on main system.
Deleted copy from temporary files in Documents and settings.
Disconnected test computer from printer and network (printer has fax line, doubt it could be used, but, meh. Won't hurt.)
Moved copy of RA3 Beta to Flash drive.
Double-checked for left behind copies of reg. files
Moved to test computer
Opened RA3 files and installed the files on I.
Used the code GAPP-9SHC-ALTK-TQVV-DYGR to bypass the first code request for the installation.
Copy of beta reg. files remains unopened on my flash.

Edit: Opened RA3 (without connection to internet and NOT having used the updated reg. keys)
Error comes back, Game cannot start, must be connected to the internet.

Where to now? ;)
Edit: By changelog, do you mean a list of items that I do, or a list of things that I change in the files?

OFFLINE TEST SYSTEM:
Test it with GAPP first after the installation, if it does go use the key. Well pray that it'll go then update us with the result.

Most probably it will not go with the GAPP key, if you do use the legit key and it works check if there are new Sekyu keys, entries, folders and files created. I assume it'll re-populate the again.

I'll do the test later.

REMINDER:
Make a changelog of stuff so we can back track.

Just refresh I don't like double posting.

Lets just hope it doesnt make a log of failed activation attempts anywhere...That would make the registry annoying to overcome....

Alright. I'll get on it.

Edit: 7 files in Rar archive. Opened in notepad. Cross-referencing locations in unregistered version with registered version. (Will delete all temps when done with them)

You can do anything to try to make it work just don't go online and if it requires any files pull it from the other computer then transfer it.

Please keep taking notes of changes and procedures so we can re-create, just post if you get trapped or if it works.

@Lavarider
I've seen the reg. file you've sent me seems normal with some stuff missing from anyway I'll post then email you anything that I would require.

I'll just hang and wait if FandomofHell encounters any glitch. I'll do my own test later.

Discrepancy noted in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Installer\Products\4DF79F1C9DB1EB545A081047BB8A7B5F
Clients for the registered version has a hexidecimal value. Clients for the unregistered version does not.

Discrepancy noted in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Installer\Products\4DF79F1C9DB1EB545A081047BB8A7B5F\SourceList
Last Used Source has a hex value in registered version. Last Used Source in unregistered has a C:\Documents and Settings etc. value. Probably insignificant.

Discrepancy noted in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Installer\Products\4DF79F1C9DB1EB545A081047BB8A7B5F\SourceList\Net
1 has a hex value in registered version. 1 in unregistered version has a C:\Documents and Settings etc. value. Probably insignificant.

Edit: another discrepancy, noted in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu2\Programs\EA Games\
Biggest discrepancy is that that key doesn't exist in my version. However, I do have Electronic Arts, which has the same files. I have a couple of different hex values with a few files, but considering the registry location, I don't think that it's important.

Last discrepancy: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDLG32\OpenSaveMRU\big\
Does not exist on unregistered versions as far as I can tell.

The reg files are all unmodified files extracted directly from my registry. There is nothing missing, at least, nothing that isn't supposed to be.

That's it. Between his registry version and mine, there are 5 discrepancies, three of which appear to be insignificant, one of which I don't really understand (the \big folder's missing links) and the large, CRITICAL files in the Installer folder that is missing a chunk of hex data.
