Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

OK. I'll Be blunt. I've activated my install MANY TIMES. Period. If you don't believe me, then sorry. Its more than possible to activate an install more than once. You can reinstall the game on your PC as much as you want, at least in the beta. You obviously don't have a beta key to test this yourself. When you install the game, the keys are stored in the registry, and the game is activated when you go online. All you have to do, is wipe your computer, or just revert to a previous system restore date and install again and it makes you activate again. I've said this several times on the forums here.

EDIT: I also successfully have a registry change log and filesystem change log if anyone wants to see it, PM me. Its actually got some very interesting information in it(cryptographically).

EDIT2: I can also confirm that 3pc's is the max machines usable for the Key, however you can reinstall and reactivate on the same 3 pc's as much as you want, contrary to the rules set by securom with bioshock. There is NO activation limit, Unless you install on more than 3 nodes.

which is what i was trying to say, you might have taken it as if i said you r lying or something, but what i said is that you can reinstall on the same pc as much as u want, but u can max activate on 3 pcs, meaning what you tested i said would be the case since others said the same b4 more or less, but you have monitored the changes which they have not, so now im waiting to see how successful it will be for your to copy all the registries + game files into a pc that has not been activated b4.

how do you mean, the first thingy? i have an kane's wrath code and i'm sick of waiting. so, how do i get an RA3 code? please respond, it thake's so much time to wait...

If you only have a kanes wrath code, and you have already registered, then it does nothing. (registration website - EA - Red Alert 3 Beta)

And, i have just recived my 4th beta key (3rd excluding my fileplanet one) from EA...

When i got KW i did register my key a few times, as it gave me an error message every time. but possibly it worked every time ad gave me anther unique entry?

Also when i got my fileplanet key i tried putting that into the RA3 beta registration and that worked also.

Im guna try and get some more by re-registering all of my keys on the website and see what happens.

Ill be checking this thread every half an hour for about 5 hours from now, so ill respond to anything. i still need a unanimously chosen person for that 3rd key. lol. 4th is for a friend of mine, sorry

We don't really need to watch an activation anymore, as it's already been done by Klipseracer (here). The only thing he didn't do was upload the changed files, which I do hope he does.

That said, anyone can do it, Orion. Just pick someone you trust with your key. I'm sure you could even do it yourself; just familiarize yourself with one of those snapshot utilities. They're fairly simple to use.

you will. but the later you do it. the furthur down the queue you are, and the later you will get your beta code.

By the way, the beta is slated to end in mid- to late-september, so if you want to get a beta code and have any significant amount of time to use it, you should sign up for it now.

o and Orion, u should be able to use ur key to activate ur fathers pc since the key can be activated 3 times.

here is the changed reg file. The program made a file so that you can reproduce the changes, just dont forget to make a backup first !!!!
BTW, i changed the beta key

can u post the securom files in C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\SecuROM\UserData\
folder is hidden so u need to show hidden folders b4 u can see it

edit: registry gives an error saying it failed to access the registry

no, i didnt test it, maybe you need to change it someone, i dont know how to make registry files, this is the one the program gave me.

How about securom ?

I believe that there's an answer to the thing in securon . Can one with a legit beta key send their securom files to replace the non-legit user's test computers to see if it works ? I believe the answer lies in there . Or if anyone with the legit red alert users don't mind , attach their securom files here .
