Digiex
Digiex publishes easy to follow tutorials for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo games consoles. Computer help and downloads are provided on our forums.
At Digiex we have always tried to focus more on obscure content the larger mainstream sites don't cover, such as how to transfer your GameBoy Pokemon saves to the 3DS and keep rare things accessible to all that that might randomly get shared once, then erased off the internet never to be seen again.
With that in mind its only natural we have had some very rare Pokemon related content on Digiex for a number of years, however over the last year the amount of Pokemon content Digiex has archived significantly increased.
As I spent 2016 randomly playing through the older Pokemon games, trying to complete a living Pokedex and gather rare event Pokemon i'd missed over the years, it became apparent their was a lot of Pokemon content that should be on Digiex.
So as i played though the Pokemon games I started posting up content that I had found useful as I progressed though the games. I also started working on a Pokemon GEN 3 Legit Event Pokemon Save with HaxAras. This is probably now the largest collection of GEN 3 Event Pokemon that's publicly accessible.
Then towards the end of the year the Pokemon Community got a very nice Christmas present, some ultra rare Pokemon GBA distributions released by Deoxyz. Following on from that came an avalanche of Pokemon Nintendo DS event distributions which certain people had manage to collect over the years and finally bring together.
With that in mind this post is a thank you to all the people who have shared all the Pokemon related content listed below over the years. I think the amount of Pokemon related content people have come together to preserve deserves to be featured,...

Myself and Nimrod have spent the day upgrading the forum software from vBulletin 4 to XenForo, we have been planning this for around 6 months now and finally went for the upgrade today. As you can see we're backup and running on XenForo with everything imported nicely.
Some things might well not work as expected at the moment, we still have things to finalise and improve, however the hardest part is done and it's all minor improvements we can make from now on without taking Digiex offline again. For example we want to make it easy to tell apart threads which have been pinned to the top like we had on vBulletin, along with restoring the downloads and guide buttons which were on our top navigation menu.
You will find now Digiex is a secure https site and in addition responsive, so will adapt to the size of the device you are browsing on.
For the end user you should be able to have a generally more modern forum experience, private messages will be in threads like SMS messages on modern smart phones, you will get notification for various events on the forum, such as someone quoting you, or linking one of your posts.
Please do report any bugs and constructive feedback to us and we will do our best to address these, both myself and Nimrod work full time and work on Digiex as a hobby, so please bear with us

More than anything we hope your experience will generally be a lot smoother, thank you for sticking with us!
Christmas day might be over, however it's not for the Pokemon Community. Deoxyz is back with another Christmas present for everyone to enjoy. He has released the distribution cartridge used to distribute the Aurora Ticket, an item which unlocks Birth Island on Pokemon FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald.
With the Aurora Ticket you can get a Deoxys with yourself as the original trainer.

It doesn't seem like two minutes since the last one, however Christmas is here again!
The Digiex staff would like to wish everyone who browses Digiex or has signed up to the forums a very Merry Christmas, we hope you all have a great day with family and friends.
Throughout 2017 we hope to keep you updated with more interesting tutorials and rare content where possible, however for now do let us know if you got anything nice for Christmas in the comments. For those who don't celebrate Christmas let us wish you a happy Sunday instead!
Deoxyz gave a nice Christmas present to the Pokemon Community, a Rom of the Pokemon 10ANNIV Distribution Cartridge we were trying to previously crowdfund for. With this rom you can send a legit 10ANNIV Charizard, Pikachu, Articuno, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Latias and Latios to your Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen or FireRed GBA Games.
These Pokemon were originally distributed to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Pokemon back in 2006, however 10 years later you can now obtain them again!

As you know here at Digiex we like to provide rare content that is often very difficult to find in this day and age, usually this content has been around on the internet at some point, however this one is a little different.
We're hoping to obtain a Pokemon Distribution Cartridge which has used to distribute the Pokemon 10 Year Anniversary Pokemon (10ANNIV) to Gen 3 Pokemon games, these been Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red and Leaf Green.
Anything event related to the GBA Pokemon games these days is extremely rare, and unfortunately not cheap to obtain when things like this surface. However that said were doing a crowdfund with theSlayer, who is know for catalouging and making available Pokemon Gen 6 events for the 3DS. The aim of obtaining one of these rare distribution cartridges, so everyone can obtain these Pokemon in the future.
If you are interested and want to know more then you can read more on the Digiex forums: Pokemon 10ANNIV Distribution Cartridge Crowdfund
Update 24.12.16: The Pokemon 10ANNIV Distribution Cartridge Released thanks to Deoxyz.
It's now possible to start the Wii U Homebrew Channel / Launcher from the Homescreen, thanks to the recently released Haxchi hack by well know 3DS / Wii U hacker smealum.
Interested? if so we've put together a easy to follow tutorial that will take you though the process from start to finish.
The tutorial will teach you how to install a permanent Homebrew Channel icon on your 5.5.1 Wii U. The end result will be you can load the Homebrew Launcher from the Wii U’s home screen, just like any other app or game. The Homebrew Launcher will load first time, every time, unlike the unreliable web browser exploit we have had to use until now.

Note: Updated 1st December 2016 with a much easier tutorial, linked to above.
For fans of the traditional Pokemon 3DS games who are also enjoying Pokemon Go, all your miles (kilometers) of walking to find and hatch Pokemon in the real would could pay off in Pokemon Sun and Moon too.
Junichi Masuda, series producer mentioned earlier this year they were looking in to a way Pokemon Go could interact with the core game series, it looks like that will be a possibility in the future.
One of the met locations on Pokemon Sun / Moon is "Pokemon Go", suggesting something was able to be implemented and it will eventually be possible to import Pokemon from Go, to Sun and Moon. We would presume via Pokebank, which will be updated early next year to allow importing of Pokemon from previous 3DS Pokemon Games and the first generation of Pokemon games released on the Virtual Console earlier this year.
By hex editing your Sun or Moon save game, its possible to view all the in-game met locations for Pokemon, as shown below:
The PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV on firmware 3.60 have been hacked. This is a native hack, meaning it's the actual Vita / PS TV is hacked and not the emulated PSP, meaning any Vita / PlayStation TV currently released to date is now capable of running homebrew.
The new hack, known as "HENKaku", will require the following:
- A Vita/PSTV running 3.60
- A memcard with at least 10MB of free space (internal memory is currently not supported!)
- An FTP client
- An internet connection
