I can't link you to roms here, however the best advice I can give you is search on datomatic for the game your after.
He're you will find: Pokemon - FireRed Version (USA, Europe) (Rev 1) which has been verified by 6x people with the SHA1 of DD5945DB9B930750CB39D00C84DA8571FEEBF417
You can use SlavaSoft HashCalc on Windows to check the SHA1 of the rom you download is DD5945DB9B930750CB39D00C84DA8571FEEBF417, if it has that SHA1 then you have downloaded an untouched / clean version of the rom.
A little hint, datomatic lists a scene release with that SHA1, so if you Google "Pokemon_Fire_Red_v1.1_USA_GBA-SP" you should hopefully find somewhere hosting that rom, which you can then check is clean.

This project is really cool and I'm really curious about some of these old events. I'm a bit of an event hoarder myself but my collection only really goes back to Gen 4.
My question is, since I'm not a hacker and don't have the first idea about how to link up ROMs to GBAs, would it be possible to obtain a copy of this save file with the collection of pokemon on a physical GBA cart so I can transfer them to my existing games? If someone would be willing to do this for me and mail it then I'd be happy to pay them for it.

@Alic67e it would likely be cheaper for you to buy a an Nintendo DS flash card and use GBA Backup Tool to restore this save to your own copy of Pokemon Fire Red yourself.
If you have a DS or DS Lite you can use the GBA Backup Tool developed for that to backup / restore save games to GBA cartridges pretty easily.

Thanks for replying. I have no idea how to do this though and I don't have WinZip on my PC, so the downloadable files mean very little to me.
(I also don't have Fire Red - only have Sapphire, Leaf Green, and Emerald, as well as Colosseum and XD.)

Strange, I'll look into this later when I have some time. I don't know why that one would be corrupted and not the others, it's possible it may be something on your end. Regardless, thanks for reporting this so I can fix it if the savefile is indeed corrupted.

I'm not able to transfer it to the microsd card because my operating system(windows 7), gives me the message that that specific save is corrupted. Although it didn't correctly transfer over, upon loading the other saves, several hundred corrupted files appeared in the folder containing my saves. These files were not deletable manually but when seen by my computer I was given an option to delete all the corrupted files which I did.

I did mange to restore save files on legit Pokemon Fire Red (USA) and (EU) game with DS Lite and r4 and all works fine with no error.
I also sent pokemon from Fire Red to Diamond, and from Diamond to White, and from White to Poke Transporter => Pokemon Bank to Ultra Sun. All good with no problem but my question is if someone want to go on turnament with pokemon from this save will he get banned or?

The Pokemon are legit so i suspect you could, however It might look suspicious if someone else did this and you both had clones of the same Pokemon.
You can however use some of the Pokemon GBA Event Distributions to distribute yourself a unique Pokemon from the events we do have the distributions for.

I need to see that, hope it is not that hard to make.
You just need a GBA Flash Card and link cable. You can then distribute the desired Pokemon from one GBA to your chosen GBA game in the other GBA.
