If you can open the rom, but the distribution doesn't start... have you tried both distribution methods? (hold start+select on the 2nd GBA with che cart inserted - turn on your 2nd GBA without the cart and then put the cart inside when you see the colored Nintendo logo)
Are you using the "1P" part of the cable with the distribution cart and the "2P" with the second GBA with your game cart?

@FireRed437 please could you tell me how do you manage to insert the ROM in that flashcard? I manage to install it but as it only supports 64kb although it reads the rom and works, the transfer doesn't work :S

Dear, I use this Supercard
It's the same that our colleague has, I get it to load the ROM but I feel as if it doesn't have enough power to make the transfer because it makes a micro-flicker when I try to transfer the pokemon :(
I use the original and functional link cable and connect it correctly

I don't have a personal experience with this specific flashcart, but if there exist an option to use FLASH 128KB as save type (like in EZ Flash Omega) you should try it.

Another option is to try to patch the distribution ROM with this ROM patcher.

Thanks for the information but my knowledge is null for these things.. :( I don't know if I am able to convert the ROM in 64kb format.
 
Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to resolve this issue with a SuperCard that I recently purchased. The 10ANNIV distribution cartridge has a Fail in Patch while the rest of the cartridges has a Yes in Patch. Thanks in advance!

Sorry the necroposting, and im not sure if someone still interesed on this, but i only created a account to say i used mGBA to transfer the 10anniv pokemons to my Pokemon Ruby save, and its worked perfectly.
mGBA had a native multiplayer option, so you only select him and open a second mGBA windows to load the second rom. The roms loads perfectly and don´t had the troubles which had VBA u others emulator.
Sorry my bad english, im not english talker.

EDIT: I also discovered that there is no limit to how many times you can send a pokemon to a given cartridge.

Amazing! In the past I used NO$GBA, glad to hear that also mGBA works.
 
For anyone messing around with multi distribution roms and vbam since nosgba dont want to work for me (doesnt load any rom, no errors looks like starts loading and then stops suddenly), pokemon esmerald needs to change save type to 128k in my case, and to get the pokemon distributed you need to follow the normal progress but you going to get stuck on a grey screen on pokemon rom window, just keep that window, and press B and A again (if didnt got restarted to distribution menu again, if gots, just down to your pokemon and select it again) to distribute the same pokemon again in the distribution window and is going to work.

And then he says that the save file extension should be .sav2 which is wrong, it should be .sv2 (I remembered that from a few years ago last night as I was trying to sleep.)

Instead I ended up using NO$GBA v2.6a since it doesn't crash on startup every time after using multiplayer emulation, but it was a -huge- pain in the ass to get distro rom on screen 1 + FireRed on screen 2 working. I can't even make it work a second time for me to write a step-by-step guide for 2.6a lol.

So instead I wrote a step-by-step guide that actually works for 2.8d.

- With NO$GBA 2.8d
- With gba bios named gba.rom in the same directory
- With your Gen. III save file in extension .sv2 (not .sav2) in the BATTERY folder, saved in the Pokémon Center with free space in your party

1. Start up the emulator, click Options --> Save options to create NO$GBA.ini
2. Close the emulator and open NO$GBA.ini in a text editor, change "SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed (good/lz)" to "SAV/SNA File Format == Raw" (Otherwise NO$GBA will compress your save for no reason at all and you won't be able to use it in VBA or restore to physical cartridge anymore.)
3. Start up the emulator again, go to Options --> Emulation setup
4. Set "Reset/Startup Entrypoint" to "GBA/NDS BIOS"
5. Click the "Controls" tab and define controls for both Player 1 and Player 2.
6. Exit the settings, right-click the emulator screen and select Link which will open a second screen.
7. Go to File --> Cartridge Menu (FileName), at the bottom, select 1st machine in the dropdown menu then select the distro rom. The distro rom will start on screen 1.
8. Go to File --> Cartridge Menu (FileName) again, this time select 2nd machine in the dropdown menu and select your Gen. III rom. It will start up on second screen.
9. Hold the keys you have bound in controls to Start + Select for Player 2 (hit File --> Reset Cartridge if you need to), and on Player 1 (distro rom) select one of the Pokémon you want to send.
10. It will send the Pokémon you chose over to your Gen. III game. Once it says you can turn off the power, go ahead and hit File --> Reset Cartridge and repeat the process to receive other Pokémon, or to get to the Pokémon Center in-game if your party gets full.

Do note however that NO$GBA 2.8d is shit and will crash on startup after you've done multiplayer stuff, and you'll have to delete NO$GBA.ini and redo the setup again if you need to use it again, but once you're done sending every 10ANNIV over you can just close it and move your save file back over to VBA so it doesn't matter much. The setup only takes a minute or two anyway so if you ever need it again it's not a huge deal.

Newbie here, after many many years late... I have a bootleg copy Pokemon Emerald (batteryless SRAM patched), I have tried all of the method of distributing, this NO$GBA 2.8D is the ONLY method that works, other method like VBA & mGBA will either corrupt the save or not saving properly after the transfer. Thank you everyone for the contribution.

Now i read in internet, North America had a distribution for the "Party of the Decade" event with pokemon of this distribution and some exclusive pokemon. (Including a Fly Pikachu)
There´s no information about the distribution cartridge?

Unlike the 10ANNIV, that distribution has never surfaced anywhere.

How many GBA event distribution cartridges were ever made? I thought we had all of them here.

We have everything here that was able to be purchased from a private collector over a period of time.

As to how much more actually still exists today is unknown. The EU Eon Ticket pictured in this post we don’t have, likely still exists somewhere in the world: https://digiex.net/threads/how-poke...dges-are-replicated-and-sold-for-1000s.15674/

Journey Across America or Party of the Decade are good examples of event distributions that happened in Gen 3 which we don’t have.
